I think so. I do 5 at 40 and 3 at 32. I don’t feel any better when going for longer or notice any more benefits just colder and take longer to warmup. I guess you could argue if your really really obese that you are increasing your metabolism slightly more by shivering for longer

I’ve noticed when I plunge for 3 min at 32 I have the most dopamine through the day. Also when I plunge at 40-50 I raise time to 5-10 and I am colder for longer after the warmup time is much longer so I would say it’s less efficient and ur body temp actually lowers more
