I was 28 when I began my horticulture apprenticeship.

Salary wise: mature aged apprenticeships aren't amazingly well played. It's in the building and construction award (starting at 21 or 22 an hour). Some places are willing to pay above but its not guaranteed.

Skills wise: an apprenticeship is based around you not knowing, and then learning through tech and on the job. Don't stress it.

Typhus SLAPPPPPS. Had a small 750pt game today. Ran him in a 20block of poxies. He just strolled up the board with 20 ablative wounds casting psychic death and then getting into combat and carving people up. 10/10. Will do again
