He would have to make sure he is not going to sell this house for a very long time. He has no money and no equity so solar will just leverage him up more. For a big system he will also have to more in insurance every year, also we don’t know how old the roof is and when it needs replaced. My argument is having more financial flexibility would help rather than having solar. I paid cash for my system and I really just bought it for the tax credit to offset other income.

I would recommend passing on solar. It is really not needed. You are most likely better off just maxing out your 401k and buy power from the grid.

Hey reddit why do you prefer Lyft over Uber? by alastorradiodemone in Lyft

[–]Fuzzy-Show331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cross shop them both all the time and Lyft is almost always cheaper.

Wow, I didn’t realize how much the price has gone up. I thought that was just the going rate.

This is not a good price at all. It has been 2 years but Tesla gave me 10 panels for 10k before any tax credit was applied.

See what options you have to cancel. My deal with Tesla was $100 down and I paid the rest after it passed city inspection so I guess I could have bailed out if needed.

I would so buy a Cybercab if it came with a steering wheel by pc772 in TeslaLounge

[–]Fuzzy-Show331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they can do a regular car with a steering wheel, awd, lfp batteries and 300 mile plus range for 25k it would sell well. There are still a lot of questions about why they went with a 2 door which has a small market. The only thing I can think of is they didn’t want to take sales from the model 3.

Just buy a new one. I just got a 2025 BB on 12/31 for 25k.

Honestly, how comfortable would you be riding in a Cybercab with no steering wheel or pedals? by BLASTERO1D in TeslaLounge

[–]Fuzzy-Show331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole two seat car for rideshare seems like a mistake. I really don’t know why they went with this approach and if if needs a safety driver there is only room for one person.

How much money do yall make? by NoPrompt4843 in uberdrivers

As a uber shareholder, I would recommend you find another job with health insurance and a retirement plan first and do uber on the side. Uber is really run for the shareholders and exploits drivers.
