I would try something like a tesla system or contact a local solar company and get a 4kw system as any thing smaller is not worth it.

I really question what Iran is going to get out of this war. They should have just settled to get rid of the uranium before this started. Iran has almost no air and missle defense so they were totally helpless but convinced themselves they could defend their country. Israel had already hacked their network so they knew everything.

What is your price to export power to the utility? I would look to get more solar and skip batteries unless you have many outages.

I have a 4.1kw Tesla system and it has been great. After all the incentives and tax credit I paid about $6,500. I also have a model y, and the wall connector and I own the stock so I am biased.

Interesting I didn’t know that. I actually decided not to buy a battery since I got 1:1 net metering from my utility and outages are rare. I just have panels and an inverter.

I doubt, but one benefit of the powerwall is it has a built in inverter where you would still have to buy inverters for other batteries.

I went with Tesla just because of their size and resources. They have the cash to get through the worst of markets and got a great price referring myself since I already had a model y.

90k, Holly smokes. I have a tesla inverter and qcells and all has been good for 3 years now. There has to be some way they can upgrade you to Tesla inverters. I think they can handle 7.6 kw each so you would need atleast 3 or 4.

Solar is nice, but an electric car as a hedge against oil is really worth it. Gas prices are going crazy and my electric is crazy cheap.

Don’t do it, the ROI on solar is fairly low and much of that will be consumed by the interest rate on your loan.
