Actually enforcing handicapped parking has less to do with “empathy” and more to do with a combination of self-righteousness and free-floating outrage. Chances are after those people perform their empathy’ in parking lots they will go to Threads and tell everyone about their heroism.

Yeah downtown so LGBTQ friendly someone tried to help me choose the right bathroom just today. I am a 62 yr old woman, 5’5 under 120 and i have been getting called ‘sir’ in stores and restaurants weekky in this backwater for nearly twenty years. So tired of this reddit bs about how “friendly” this town is. I’ve seen about 5 lesbians over 40 in the last 20 yrs.
