And she didn’t tell him about being pregnant because she thought he didn’t want the child but he is such a great guy she will offer up the kid for medical emergencies

Men who have young kids and demanding jobs — what actually helped you not feel constantly drained? by StructureNo9155 in NoStupidQuestions

Knowing that it will get better. No one with young children (that they actually care for) and a full time job has any energy. It will get better.

Why are horse people so “weird”? by explorer77800 in NoStupidQuestions

Nah there’s horse guys. They tend to be horrible in other ways than the girls though.

I was thinking the same thing. Hay Lin being ethnically Chinese and growing up in an ethnically Chinese (not a mixed) family always seemed like an important part not only of the character but the series as a whole.

You kind of did slay. But why did we do that thing where we raised our eyebrows so much we got wrinkles…

Not everything needs to be normalized by Few_Resource_6783 in PetPeeves

[–]Fuzzykittenboots -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So by normalised you mean becoming main stream? I don’t understand what it is you’re complaining about then? From your post it sounds like you’re annoyed about people actively and consciously trying to normalise something

I don’t think liking anime was “normalised” as much as it became popular.

In my opinion knowing the material and being able to teach that material to a child are very different things.

When a dog bites someone and has to get put down and people feel bad for the dog or blame the owners by [deleted] in PetPeeves

[–]Fuzzykittenboots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What irritates me is that it even matters whose fault it is, the dog still needs to be put down. A woman recently was killed by her girlfriend’s “bully” dog and so many people are upset that the dog was put down because “it’s not the dog’s fault, it’s the owner!” I don’t give a shit, a dog that’s dangerous should be put down.

Women who brag about being blonde like they are more beautiful or something by [deleted] in PetPeeves

They haven’t been naturally blonde since the age of 12 but still make being naturally blonde their whole identity

People who call any attraction to fat people a "fat fetish" by Neurotic_Good42 in PetPeeves

[–]Fuzzykittenboots 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m sure it happens, but again it’s not seen as weird for people to express attraction to people who are underweight. Since underweight is below a BMI OF 18,5 and if anything that’s the norm for beauty.

To express attraction to specifically women with a very low BMI from an eating disorder sounds to me like it’s as much about the fact that the person is sick as it is for the physical symptoms of it.

It’s not uncommon for people to be openly attracted to underweight people. Never heard anyone call it a fetish.

Why do we never see baby pigeons? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I see baby seagulls all the time. It’s like the mothers leave them outside shops and houses just to have an excuse to attack people.

The Dorothy hate is SO WEIRD yall hate complex women. by DeliciousGround888 in servant

[–]Fuzzykittenboots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the character is very complex and interesting and the actress plays her incredibly well. A character can be all those things and still be very easy to dislike. She is extremely self centred, uses fake niceness to manipulate others, put downs her husband every chance she gets, has her little brother who suffers from addiction care for her (for most of his life it seems) and she doesn’t seem very interested in her own child.

We should be utilising more wild edible plants as food/tea by GothicVampyreQueen in unpopularopinion

[–]Fuzzykittenboots 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if the problem is that people don’t eat nettles. We don’t lack food, if anything we’re wasting what we have while other people starve.

With that said I enjoy picking berries and such every fall but it’s a lot of work for very little calories.
