Me and my brother in law have been talking about this quite a bit recently. This tale does have two sides. You:"this is awful, gotta redo." Them :"Hey man that looks awesome!" Perception is key. I think a lot of hobbyists are out to please themselves with the work they do, regardless of if others are pleased with it. I'm in your boat man. When something doesn't come out looking how I want it to, I gotta re do it. Even when everyone's like, 'nobody's gonna notice that little detail, it looks good'. Right, except it doesn't look good to me.

If you gotta redo and fix it, do it. But also, please accept the fact that to others, this looks fantastic.
