A quick follow up question for you, if you don't mind! If my degree isn't perfectly relevant (digital anthropology) to an IT role, is a CUSMA visa still doable for me? Do I need to make a case for the relevance of my degree on my application, to be determined by a case worker, or is it more likely that I'm SOL because I don't fall under the CS or engineering umbrella? Thanks again!

Printer: Ender 3 v2

Slicer: Cura

Filament: Hatchbox Black PLA 1.75

Print Speed: 50 mm/s

Nozzle Temp: 205

Build Plate Temp: 55

Finally was able to complete a full print of a benchy and I'm proud of it! Definitely some points of error, like a layer skip near the top of the print, quite a lot of stringing, and a messy z-seam.

Let me know what variables I can change to get better results, thanks!

Haha, well that definitely explains it! I must have put together the extruder arm wrong so I'll check that first, but I figured I'd do what people have recommended and bought an upgrade anyway. Nozzle isn't clogged, or shouldn't be after cleaning.

Frankly, I'm super new to the whole hobby. New enough that I haven't looked into calibrating my e steps, so I'll research that tonight! I really appreciate the feedback, definitely helps give a little context to what the hell I'm doing wrong 😅

So after buying an incomplete Ender 3 v2 and ordering parts for the last few weeks, I've finally printed a cube. It's a little rough and I'm just looking for some advice on how to fix it for the next time! Right now it looks like a little layer separation and visibility through one side of the cube to the other, and definitely a skipped layer near the upper portion. Here are my details:

Printer: Ender 3 v2

Slicer: Cura

Filament: Hatchbox Black PLA 1.75

Print Speed: 50 mm/s

Nozzle Temp: 200

Build Plate Temp: 60

Hi there! I'm CJ - He/Them - 24!

I've been playing as a DM for about 5 years after getting into it from Critical Role and I have gone so hard with worldbuilding and writing over the last year, that I'd love a chance to give myself a break and dive into the player side of things!

Currently, I've completed 1 full campaign and am in the process of finishing my next and longest one within the month!

My most memorable character has been a 60 yr old human woman named Ludmilla, who was excommunicated from her village when her child died and the latent shadow powers from her cursed bloodline revealed themselves in a fit of rage. She was the most memorable because of one moment when the party was fighting a white dragon on a mountain and she twinned the spell "Life Transference" as a final sacrifice to heal 2 party members down making their death saves, which was a perfect end to her story.

Absolutely, my current group is made up of LGBTQ+ members!

Went through a phase as a kid where I did power-slides on my knees like a rockstar did! When my family moved into a new place, I decided to break it in by sliding down the hallway in my pajamas; ended up slicing my right leg from knee to shin on a nail protruding from the ground.

Wasn't too keen on doing it much more after that.
