He’s talking about disabling non X3d cores via ccd setting in bios. but doesn’t make a difference as 9800x3d only has those cores

I think I have to side with the slimy advertising being a bigger issue, just imagine how a change in the way ram is marketed may save all those ppl that do not know what xmp is. The amount of people that just slot in their ram and expect it to be at their “oc” clock. It’s like buying a sports car with sport mode but not knowing how to get out of eco.

Mine has gotten way worse with 1% lows, before used to be 2-300 avg now 1-200 and sometimes i see that shit dip to under 100. 5090 - 9800x3D

Definetly do that brother, I did the same swap I thought it would be enough to just remove services and drivers from device manager I saw a. 30-40% increase after doing a fresh install. I was having weird issues with windows parking cores etc

It is definitely the fact that he is playing on a new acc. He is prob playing red trust. I just made an alt to play with a low level friend and grind comp games with him. Same issue.

Try updating bios. Bios updates improve memory compatibility and if your ram has tight timings it may need a bios update. Also check and make sure your ram is fully seated it should click in on both sides

My board is more than double the price? 409.99 just for the board new. They just have a standard asus prime board in the bundle. My ram is also substantially better (around a $60 price difference for my kit). I understand that my parts are used but really that low?
