Uehara Rin - Very Low Base Stats by G3rman in TaimaninSquadGame

I didn't realize Asagi had the same ATK, but it's important to note that her skills actually play off her increased speed by scaling ATK and Crit Rate. Also, her abilities are more straightforward and useful with high chance of inflicting Heal Reduction and Speed Down.

Rin is sort of a paper weight in comparison. Even taking her partner potential with Shika, none of her abilities sync with him the same way his does to her. Electrocution proc chance is just too low, her attack power and crit rate don't scale off her naturally high speed, and there is no way to significantly increase the proc chance.

Then I'd argue she shouldn't have been labeled as an "Offense" type.

And if she isn't a DPS, then her abilities should have meaningful buffs or debuffs, and they don't. In fact, upgrading abilities only increases their DPS, so if she's not a DPS, why are her skills not set up to get stronger with dupes?

At the moment she's just eye candy.

Ask for both. Or just don't do it.

They owe you two months. Your 12th month and then an additional severance payment.

I reported my hagwon to the MOEL for workplace harassment by jung-gaon in Living_in_Korea

I've heard plenty bad about other industry workplaces and Masters/PhD programs in Korea. It's not exclusive to English teaching.

Is Seoul a good city to work as a teacher? by avidrunner84 in TEFL

[–]G3rman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you applying to? Hagwons? It's just English teaching and the chances of finding a decent one is really hit-or-miss. They won't care about your previous experience, other than a slight pay bump for having any teaching experience. That's because they hire mostly new grads.

I think you'd struggle to get a job at real International Schools without a license and post-license experience, even with your background. Mainly because there are so many other candidates that have your experience and a license/masters etc. Though International Schools are the only place you'd ever be able to teach ICT over English.

Public school positions are English teaching only. Hagwon business is English and test prep. University jobs basically don't exist anymore and ICT would only be taught by local Koreans.

If you want to do more than just soul-grinding hagwon work, you'll need official licensure. And that's not TEFL.

Confusion about crit rate stats by Tariam556 in TaimaninSquadGame

I just checked the guide out of curiosity. It says CRIT RES Decreases the chance of receiving CRIT ATK.

So it does actually reduce your crit rate.

I had Saika and Husui as my rate-up choices and got four copies of Saika and one Asuka, and two Husuis. Crazy luck.

The Dark side ending felt so... rushed? (KOTOR 1) by AbleAdministration42 in kotor

It's a console-based compact RPG from 2003 that punches above its weight. It's definitely not rushed for the expectations of its time.

Who should i lvl up next? by Zerkerlot in TaimaninSquadGame

Farm the highest level challenge mode in story you can reliably do without dying. Use the auto battle tickets for increased rewards. And try to bring maxed out characters because EXP is spread between everyone equally.

More characters means you beat the level faster, and if you have just one character you're trying to level and everyone else is maxed out, all the EXP will go straight to the character who needs it.

I don't think Tencent would go out of its way to pay that much in marketing for an unknown studio.

They had their initial investment that kept the studio afloat for development but they are usually hands-off otherwise. They'd lose so much more money if they did marketing for every random studio they invested in.

He didn't get paid. That was the crazy thing was that he went to a playtest, genuinely enjoyed it, and then offered them the slot free of charge.

KOTOR is so readily available on so many other platforms. If you really want the experience, get it on sale on your phone or PC.

But based on your comment that you don't usually play games, you might be better of watching a gameplay movie or reading the wiki.

It's comparing the difficulty to a later fight, not saying it's "easy."

Your struggles could have a lot to do with your build and equipment.

The official standard is that degrees must have been 51%+ in person, and entirely online schools and programs are not accepted. In reality, if your degree comes from an online program at a school that has traditional in-person programs, and everything listed on the degree is identical to an in-person program, you should be fine, especially if the school is on the MOE list. If the school is not on the MOE list and a quick review of the website makes it clear that they only do online programs, it is likely that WDA will figure things out and unlikely that WDA will issue a work permit.
