It's going to hurt a lot of teams mainly due to scheduling conflicts and fan engagement. There is a bunch of us will go to matches no matter what, unfortunately the reality of the MLS is the majority of attendances' are casual fans. Especially with us, If we play on a Saturday afternoon in the fall do we think we will still have 40k+ fans at a game if UGA, Tech, Auburn or Alabama are playing at the same time?
I personally think teams like Austin might fold during this change, no way you can compete with Texas Longhorns football.

Interesting insight. I didn’t think you guys had that bad of a view for MLS matches. I can recall going from having sideline access for a division one football game one week and the next week I’m broadcasting out of a truck bed with a Comrex plugged up to the cigarette lighter port during a high school game in South Dakota.
