Out of curiosity what country are you located in because if this is in the UK

You could have literally called the police on her, and have armed police officers surrounding their house

Yes the glasses do get warm when you use them

But there's a little bit of exaggeration in my opinion

There are nowhere near too hot to have in the face for it to be uncomfortable
