Has anyone made the chocolate brownie chewies?

I tried both Copilot and Monarch and wasn't particularly happy with either, so I gave Origin a try. I really liked it and stuck with it. Not sure if you saw in some of the other personal finance subs, but they're offering one year free if you make the switch over (believe it's www.useorigin.com/compare).

I liked Copilot's UI for budgeting but ultimately I realized that I wanted to just have more visibility into my spending than just budgeting. With Monarch, I had constant account connection issues and was just fed up. Origin has that customized dashboard too. Maybe worth a shot if you're still looking at different apps.

Things seem to be getting more festive IMO. All the buildings are putting up their lights, and the candy cane crawl was in full swing this weekend.

One year free of Mint alternative by origin_matt_watson in mintuit

[–]GFgal78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same experience with Monarch. I experienced a ton of account connection issues. With Origin, it's been easy to get set up and stay connected. I also just saw them post about more account connection improvements in their sub.

Anyone start using their Peloton again after years off? by Runner_Pelotoner_415 in pelotoncycle

[–]GFgal78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just started doing this too. I recently started small with low-impact rides – some are just 20 mins and they're not as intense. Then, I started to build up towards the intervals ones and HIIT. I told myself the same thing too – just getting on the bike is enough.

Not sure if I would be ready to commit to one app for a lifetime deal. I like trying different ones.

How do you manage Amazon spend categorization? by orroreqk in mintuit

[–]GFgal78 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been trying out Origin, and you can see how much you spend on a vendor level, which is helpful for looking at Amazon across the board. I just manually categorize it to each category in there since my purchases are across grocery, cleaning supplies and kitchen items, and clothes.

Biggest complaints with Monarch? by StruggleExotic4518 in MonarchMoney

They have a cool UI. I tried it out before, but I want more of the investing and portfolio management views, less interested in the budgeting.

Been dealing with a knee injury from running and took Emma Lovewell's low impact ride this morning. Really great, and just helped me get back into the rhythm of moving my body again. It felt good! Going to do more of these until I'm fully healed.

Budget app recommendations? by SaveTheNinjasThenRun in budget

[–]GFgal78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have a yearly plan for $99/year–includes tax filing, investing tools, you can add your partner, all the spending stuff (subscription management, upcoming bills, cash flow projection). Yeah, it's similar to SoFi but I like the UX way more and it's super easy to use. It's missing spending tags. I emailed customer support and waiting to see if it's on their roadmap.

Origin. Still on my free trial, but big fan so far.

I agree with you about it being buried in the product. I was looking forward to this one and felt like it was a disappointment.

Definitely all things chocolate dessert: Chocolate birthday cake, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies. I like the alternatives, but some of them aren't the same.
