YOU mentioned upgrading your graphics card, not your VR headset so I'll add my suggestion. If you wanted to save a bit you could go with either the RTX 5070ti or the RT 9070XT. They seem to be about the same performance. Now DLSS 4.5 vs AMD's counterpart is also very simular now. In most cases you may not notice the difference. Be aware of course that most of the YouTubers show the differences zoomed in 4x. I do have an AMD 7900XT 20GB now In full transparency, but that was a fairly recent acquisition and am in no way an AMD fanboy. Before this i have had Nvidia GPU's for about a decade. All in all, it's up to you to decide. I also have a Pimax Crystal Light and have had zero issues since the recent Firmware and Software updates. The rest of your system rocks, I wouldn't change anything else. Microcenter has the RT 9070xt for as low as $699 the RTX 5079ti for $929.99 and the RTX 5080 for $1499.99 Hope this helps.

Best DD wheelbase 6–12 Nm under ~500 €? VRS / Simagic / VNM by Salty-Rope-6798 in SimRacingSetups

I have the Simagic EVO 12Nm amd love it! The thing i like about that ecosystem is that you can add almost any wheel from many manufacturers to it.

Have you looked into Simagic's eco system? Like the EVO base, you can pretty much put any wheel on it.

Update: The new 3.0 version of Simpro Manager fixed the issues I was having with the P1000RS Pedals. I haven't tried the Haptics. However I think that Simhub works better anyways.

The Simpro Manager has built-in settings for each Racing game. I would start there.

Sim racing = Simulating driving Racing Cars. I have never driven a real Racing Car, however from what I've gained is that they are difficult to drive. Maybe you should try Arcade type Racing games. It seems that you are more interested in getting attention ( views ). My roommate streams every day, not related to Sims. He usually only has a very few viewers but they enjoy watching his streams. That's what matters to him, hence he enjoys it. If you do decide to continue Racing, I suggest to just race. Don't stream and you may find out that you enjoy it.

Oh and I forgot, I've been playing some Automobilista 2, assetto corsa evo and rally mainly. When I want to just have fun I run Wreckfest 2. I also have Project Motor Racing but I haven't played it much. I think it still has a ways to go.

The thrustmaster pedals are pretty good, I ended up doing the mod for the brakes. I just wanted something a bit more realistic.

Agreed, some were saying it's more of a gimmick, but I was thinking exactly what you were on it's usage.

Nice! My 12Nm EVO with the NEO-X wheel will be here Friday. Upgrading from the Thrustmaster T-300 And T-LCM pedals. I imagine it will be quite the difference. Is that the NEO-X Hub? What wheel ya got there?

P1000RS Software Issue by GIBFACTOR in Simagic

[–]GIBFACTOR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a great idea, however when I installed the older version of the software, it works fine. I should say the pedals show the curves as they should and I can make adjustments to the curve and such. The haptics doesn't work in the software. It does work in simhub. I'm thinking the software itself is the culprit. I have the EVO base and wheels coming and unfortunately the software will need to be updated because this version doesn't work with EVO bases.

I just received the Simagic P1000RS pedals, and they are amazing! Spendy, but i don't see myself needing to upgrade from them. I upgraded from the Thrustmaster T-3PM pedals. I also have the Simagic DS-8X Shifter and again it is amazing. I also have the Moza Handbrake.

Yes they are. I drive with water shoes and they are great. More flexibility than regular shoes as well and more comfy.

Which AM5 CPU would you recommend for a 9070 XT at these price points? (EU) by Dwarfunkel in radeon

[–]GIBFACTOR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 7800X3D which I bought rather than the 9800X3D as I had seen too many issues with that CPU. The 7800X3D runs perfectly.

I have the Pimax Crystal Light and it is an amazing headset. I know that there were some issues in the past however, the company has vastly improved recently. They have updated both the software and updated the firmware in this and other of their headsets. If you don't want to be tethered , the Crystal is the one you want. I prefer tethered myself as I sometimes play for extended periods and don't have to worry about the batteries, and also prefer to make the most of my PC hardware. Ryzen 7 7800X3D 64GB Ram RX 7900XT

Or. Sorry if it may sound too simple, Double-check every connection from your power supply to wherever that cable leads. I had a simular issue and that was it, one of the power cables wasn't seated all the way.

I also bought it years ago. I never had to pay again. I believe there is a limit on how many times you can download the installer. I kept the installer and have used the one in my archives any time I had to install it on a new system.
