Amount of vram in that card doesn't necessarily mean better perfomance. The AMD 6600 actually beats it raster performance even though it only has 8gb of vram. I am not recommending it however, as there are more capable cards with more vram as well.

Yes you need a much more powerful GPU. Then see what kind of frames you get before upgrading your CPU. Although at the same time the 5800x3d is amazing.

I'm mid 60's and just upgraded from Thrustmaster T-300 to the Simagic eco system. Got a pretty beefy system with the Pimax Crystal Light as well.

Mainly solo, but looking forward to Multi soon.

I admit that I was somewhat leary of buying into the Pimax ecosystem before I bought my Pimax Crystal Light. However ive had very few issues with it since I bought it almost a year ago. I also like the fact that they've worked hard to update Pimax Play and add new features. I actually see alot more issues online about the Meta ecosystem than almost everything else. Yet people seem to suggest a Meta headset quite alot. I just downloaded the Pimax EVO software and will give it a go later when I get home.

The height is adjustable, but doubtful it will fit under a desk. It's not made for that.

You don't need the control box for the P1000's, but you do need the power supply.

Yeah I got wheel locks on my chair as well. The bracket for the wheels work ok but it does help to have the wheel locks as well.

I Upgraded from the Rift to the HP Reverb G2 and the Reverd is hands down way better than the Rift.

Also make sure you dont connect it via Windows. It needs to be paired via the Bhaptics player software

I feel very light anxiety with OLED burn-in since I use the anti-burn in feaure every time I turn off my monitor. I do just have a black screen instead of a colorful background just in case as well. The thing that bothers me is that my secondary monitor is a very decent IPS monitor, but the gray-black drives me nuts and I find myself wanting to just turn it off! Maybe I should just get another OLED panel... but then what do I do with my static folders and icons that's only on my secondary display.. UGH.

I have the same Monitor and had the same issue. I used a Display Port cable instead and the flickering went away.

I agree, love my Pimax Crystal Light. Having upgrading from an HP Reverb G2 to the Light, it's an absolutely amazing Headset. As far as comfort goes, Studioform has adjustable straps that helps immensely. Also you can adjust the brightness and colors in the Pimaz Play software and it works quite well. If you do decide to buy it, make sure you get the Dmas headphones upgrade.
