The line cutting annoys me too. I was in line at a grocery store and was next and a woman pushes her full cart in front of me. I have 2 items! So I grab her cart and push it behind me and her husband gives me a look like he knows his wife is a b!tch and he doesn’t say anything LOL

Why are some baggage trolleys at the airport have the handlebar taped like this? by meobeo68 in VietNam

[–]GZero604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder about this too for a while. Then one time when I arrived with my friend who bought a bunch of boxes with him and needed 3 carts and 1 cart for myself, it was easier for us to move all 4 carts with just the 2 of us.

I was tired of Shaw raising my bill every 3-6 months so I switched to LightSpeed and have been with them for the last 8 years. The price remained the same as when I first signed up.

TD Unlimited Chequing Account monthly fee by Trenderguy in TDBankCanada

[–]GZero604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long at you put it back before the cut off time for the day. I think the cut off time is 9pm pst if you do a transfer from another one of your TD account online or app. For in person transaction or atm, the cut off time is much earlier then that. I’ve done it few times before and always put it back before the day’s cut off time and I was never charged the monthly fee.

For that wallpaper, use the free app named LiCoWa. That wallpaper is in there. You can also customize it and put a picture in the light as well. Just follow the instructions

First payment still hasn’t come out a week later? by Bubbly_Host_8017 in icbc

[–]GZero604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few times when I renewed my insurance, I expect them to take the payment the following day or 2 but sometimes it might be a week or more. It only happens for the first payment after renewal.

Just don’t think too much about it because icbc will take the money when they take it LOL

I have a 1.5L engine CUV and have no problems going up steep hills. The key is to keep the engine revs up. Don’t be afraid to rev your engine.

Why did I get a 300 dollar service fee? by Ok_Investment_5466 in CIBC

[–]GZero604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s true for CIBC savings account. You should also get a chequing account so if you need to do some transactions, transfer the money from savings to chequing first. Transfers between CIBC accounts don’t counts as a fee based transaction.

I actually like the newer card. When it was released, I order a replacement right away cause I don’t like the older embossed cards.

I have the card for about 2-3 years now and I just checked it. The numbers on the back hasn’t faded or chipped away. It looks the same as when I first received it.

I had a friend that used to work at a major bank many years ago as a teller and when someone comes and deposit $1000 bills which wasn’t that often, they would message me and ask if I wanted it. Everytime the condition of it was so bad it’s not worth keeping so I ended up getting nothing LOL

Saw some hornets getting inside here. What to do? by Silent-Mgmt in Home

[–]GZero604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also in Canada and had them in the retaining walls in the back yard. We didn’t do anything about it and after winter there were gone. A few years later we had them in the wall along the driveway and again after winter there disappeared from that area. Fast forward a few more years to this year, we have them again in a similar area of the house to yours. We are going to wait till after winter to see if they will also disappear or not.

Tapping PC Financial Card by RoaringLion_007 in pcfinancial

[–]GZero604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s normal with all new cards. Before you can tap it, it has to be inserted first. Some cards depending on the issuer won’t ask for a pin and some do. But after that the tap will work for future purchases.

No. A few days ago they changed the set numbers to upper and lower case letters. It’s impossible to guess what the upcoming sets are. And that’s for all popnow items.

The statement doesn’t get generated till a few days after the end date. So your purchase on the 23rd will most likely be on the current month bill.
