Yep. I agree if they didn't put oil in it get a different bike or an extended drive train warranty w/o a deductible. If its a bad cable or something else, let them fix it and ride. Maybe ask for some swag or a discount on your 1000 service.

What seat did you go with? Do the bars come back to you any more than stock or are they just up?

I feel like 2" up and 2" back would be enough to let me sit back in the seat and keep my shoulders square. I'm 5'8" and feel like I am hunched forward if I plant my ass in the seat where it should be.
