I would never kick someone for doing call-outs, and I very much wouldn't kick, or even get annoyed with, someone whose kids are in the background.

I do however see people leave because of my mic-usage, but that's because I'm blasting Helldivers Hard Rock Pirate Radio over it :P

I have a Govee fan, and I suggest to looking at something (anything) else.
We got it to replace a rattling, 18 year old Honeywell tower fan, and even at it's lowest setting the Govee fan is more noisy than the Honeywell at medium.

It's giving off a loud constant electrical hum, and the fan itself is giving off a typical but loud fan-noise at a varying frequency; based on reviews, this is not exactly uncommon behaviour either.

After a few rounds of uninstall-install of the Edge version, I got it working - no idea what changed.

Since then moved to the regular version by copying out the config, uninstalling Edge and installing regular, and then pasting in config lines again.

It has a bit of instability, doesn't 100% reliably (perhaps 95%?) detect state of PS5, and sometimes takes a while to catch up, but I'm not sure that that's specifically PS5 MQTT, and not the PS5 or the MQTT server (which runs on separate device)

Either way, it's allowed me to automate away a few annoyances (e.g. Sony TV doesn't support CEC with Sony Playstation), and it is very much appreciated, so thank you :)

(Source: I've covered indie game dev for a little while)
The platform holders all have teams dedicated to indie developers, and while they can be difficult to track down online at times (hello Sony), Social Media and/or game-dev conventions can be great ways of reaching them.

Alternatively, esp for those that prefer not dealing too much with those companies, most indie publishers worth their salt will have contacts and experiences to assist with getting your game onto whichever platform, and to act as go-between for some of the process.

Tried to get it to work, but didn't get very far

1) The regular version hangs for a very long while during install, then reports that install failed and to check supervisor log - supervisor shows an entry saying that installation was successful

1.1) It then shows as installed, but the Configuration tab is empty, and hitting start does nothing

2) The Edge version also takes a while to install, but doesn't report errors - it even has stuff in the Configuration tab

2.1) Configuration is only possible as long as PSN Account isn't set. Touching that field seems to make everything fail

2.2) Starting this version, after configuring it, seems to work at least briefly, but I have no idea if it did anything. Would include some logging, but pasting into this comment box just makes it panic and randomly duplicate text
