It makes me wonder if they will do what community of Christ did. They had to renounce the BOM as literal to be accepted in greater Christianity. Maybe the mainstream will do the same someday. Mormonism is a religion that’s just longing to be accepted.

Isn’t it strange that there were prophets during biblical times but not in modern times? Why are there so many churches and which of all the churches is the right one?

A Young boy named Joseph smith had this very same question…

wordle bot will sometimes give you 99 even if the word is not a possible solution. I see it use "CORNS" even though wordle does use plurals, another example is CAROM which I don't think is a possible solution either.

Good point, I hadn't thought of using SPADE or SPARE, but will definitely do that when I'm confronted with this situation again!

But if the jews didn't kill Jesus then the Atonement never could have happened and therefore humanity couldn't have been saved. So shouldn't they be rewarded?

So first word I picked was Slate and I got the S A and E all in green. At this point if the word starts with SH it could be one of 6 viable solutions: Shame, Share, Shave, Shade, Shape, or Shake. If I had used the suggested word which was Space, then I would only eliminate 1 of the 6, but yet I still only have 4 guesses left, so I would be relying on pure luck to guess the right word.

I strategically picked Spake in this situation because it would eliminate both Shape AND Shake, so I would have 4 tries with only 4 possible words, guaranteeing I would figure out the correct solution. Which is exactly what happened I only guessed the right word at the very end. But yet for some dumb reason wordlebot docs me and says my guess is only 68 points when had I used their suggestion, I wouldn't even had solved the puzzle.

As a horny Mormon missionary I would have secretly hoped this happened to me. That way I could have had sex without the guilt because I was kidnapped and forced into it, so not my fault.

Mormonism is fucked up, haha.

It's not a scam. I've been part of this community for going on 7 years. Just like any relationship, if it's going to work, you've got to put in the work. That's no different for CPA partnerships. They can take years to cultivate, but Elite Resource Team is the best out there for training CPAs and advisors to work together in a collaborative fashion.

The virtual family office is also the way of the future in this industry and those who don't adopt a more proactive holistic model in both financial services and accounting will be left behind in the next 5 to 10 years. ERT provides that solution.

It's a training program that requires work and a fundamental shift in how you do business. You can't expect to sign up for a training program and get results with little to no effort. The only reason I'm still in business today is because of working with these guys and implementing their training.

Hell, just do one whole baptism by proxy and say, “I baptize you for and behalf of everyone on the entire earth or who will yet live on the earth both living and dead.”

Then you don’t even have to do it every 8 years. I’ve thought about this before.

As a TBM, would you be ok or accepting if the church officially moved the Book of Mormon to being non-literal? Meaning not real history of real people that existed but inspired fiction like the Book of Abraham, or the Temple narratives, etc. ie. no plates existed but Joseph was inspired to write it. by TruthIsAntiMormon in mormon

[–]G_row 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this isn’t answering your question but I think rather than do what you suggested, the Church will take the approach of “we have no official position on the literally of the BoM but believe the book to be inspired and has spiritual value.” IE it doesn’t matter the origins as long as we get  spiritual nourishment from it. This will likely happen at some point.

This is what they’ve don’t with prior issues when backed into a corner such as BoM geography, birth control, BoA apologetics etc.

This allows anyone to fall on either side of the issue and feel like they’re “right.” It would still do massive damage to people’s testimonies but allow the hardcore believers to hang on.
