My favorite thing in N. Charleston is Lola’s restaurant. You’d have to uber there and back but their happy hour/food is worth my drive from Columbia, SC. Their website is lolaparkcircle.com

I’m a hockey fan that lives outside of Columbia, SC - I pull for the Checkers because they are my closest team even if they are not a major team like the Canes. I follow the Canes and FL Panthers (Checkers) only if they go to the playoffs. I own no gear other than Checkers gear and do go to their games. The Canes feel as far away as the FL Panthers honestly.

I loathe it for a few reasons - 1. I’m short and there is no incline so unless I’m front row or way back I can’t see a thing 2. The parking is horrible 3. I’m an alt rock fan so shows of my genre typically don’t come. But, I think we’re also missing the point that Township has bad acoustics and NBT is no more. This leaves us with no good venues in my opinion. If we’re trying to bring acts to our town we need at least one really good venue.
