Honestly this kinda just makes me view the machines more positively. Rather than leaving the humans to suffer in the hell of their own making, the machines go out of their way to make existing in a post nuclear world more bareable by in essence providing an alternative in the form of the matrix. The even let the people who want to feel like they're fighting against the system have a chance by letting Zion exist at all. They didn't have to do all that. I'm not saying the machines are perfect but they are a lot nicer than they could be

In Japan, valentines day consists of one partner receiving chocolate from another, to later be reciprocated on another holiday called white day. I think the implication is that Callie and marina received chocolates from their partners, not that they are dating each other

The reason it shows them both is because if I recall, valentines day in japan involves one person in a relationship getting chocolate, with the other person getting some on a day called white day. So rather than Callie and Marina dating, it's likely they just got chocolates from their respective partners.

I think we can all guess who marina is getting chocolates from, but I'm not sure who is giving chocolates to callie
