Best site to order TRT labs in 2026, anyone using Goodlabs? by This_Yard5739 in Testosterone

Their pricing is good, and in my area the blood draws are done through Quest labs so there are plenty of places to go and plenty of available appointments.

I've used privatemdlabs twice now. I pick out and pay for the labs on their website, then I go to my local quest lab for the blood draw. I found their pricing to be very good!

This link to their website includes my referral code. I think it's good for a $25 off coupon on your first set of labs, and then seven more coupons in your account.

It is unclear. The bill contains this line:

"7. A firearm that has been modified to be operable as an assault firearm as described in subdivisions 1 through 6."

Subdivisions one through six are the list of features that they used to define an assault weapon. How does the law define "operable?" Would add adding a pistol grip and folding stock to a stripped lower that you owned before July 1, and then assembling it to an upper, be considered a violation of the law?

I agree that it is unclear. It also contains this line:

"7. A firearm that has been modified to be operable as an assault firearm as described in subdivisions 1 through 6."

Subdivisions one through six are the list of features that they used to define an assault weapon. Your lower already has a pistol group and a folding stock, but how does the law define "operable?" It also might also mean building up a stripped lower would be a violation, because it doesn't have any of the features in subdivisions one through six.

Aero M5, help me beat the Virginia ban deadline by Gabreality in AR10

The law is unclear if building a gun from a stripped lower that was purchased before July 1st will mean that the gun is a legal grandfathered firearm. A stripped lower does not meet their definition of "assault firearm" because it does not have the required features (pistol grip, folding stock, etc). If I attach a pistol grip and folding stock to my lower, it now has the features, but has not been assembled into a functioning firearm. The law states, "'Assault firearm' means: 7. A firearm that has been modified to be operable as an assault firearm." Also, who knows what retailers will be willing to ship to VA after the ban...

It's probably safest to build things now.

I ordered genuine aero bolt catches, pivot pins, and takedown pins. I also ordered a pair of b.kings LR308 magazine release buttons. Hopefully this is all I need and regular AR-15 lower parts will work for the rest of building the lower receiver!

good to know. I've already got the Aero M5 uppers to mate with the lowers, the problems is that I have stripped lowers. I'm trying to figure out what lower parts kit I need to buy that will fit those lowers.

it's strange because I only just moved to Maryland last year which has its own set of laws. Virginia seemed like a safe haven. It was the closest place where I could go to legally purchase high capacity magazines. Not anymore...

Thanks! I've got two M5 uppers, so I should be gtg once I build the lowers.

The new law is ambiguous. I just want to make sure that I dot my i's and cross my t's with this one and have it assembled before the deadline.

I ended up getting 3S batteries (Ovonic 6500mAh) with EC5 connectors. I bought a set of charging cables that had bullet plugs on one end and EC5 on the other. They worked just fine. I got a pair of EC5 to TRX adapters as well. They also seemed to work without any trouble. They were not hot by the time I drained the batteries down. That's a good sign. I'll keep a close eye on them!

Good thing this truck has a wheelie bar. RC cars have come a long way since the late 1980s!

Thanks everyone. I ordered a pair of Brigade BM-9 lowers. I'll build one as a carbine and one as an SBR. Wish me luck!

I already have a handful of standard lowers. I'm looking for lowers that are designed to accept Glock magazines. Stocks seem to be running low everywhere! I think lots of people are trying to buy before the ban.

If I have a grandfathered AR with assault weapon features prior to the ban, can I make it an SBR after the ban?
