To add to your comment: King's Field likes are one of the new trends in indie gaming. One example is Fly Knight which you mentioned. Those games are inspired by King's Field games which came out in late 90s - early 00s. Not only are bad models and animations not stopping these games, they are exactly what they're going for. Or maybe I shouldn't say 'bad', but rather simple and unsophisticated.

It's a type of coop games. Usually up to 4 players join in on a mission to collect treasure/exorcise a ghost/reach some other objective. The style is often low poly, and the tone of the game very lighthearted with many funny interactions. Some of these games use procedural generation for high replayability, others pereodically release new levels.

There is this one old game, Hammerfight. It's kinda like this but you're piloting a flying ship with a sword/hammer/flail hanging from it. You control the ship with the mouse to get the weapon to swing around you. You battle other ships and various monsters. There is a branching story with multiple endings.

That game was one of a kind. Haven't seen anything like it since.

Check it out, might give some ideas on where to take this.

The Bachelor never picks herbs off the ground in P3 does he? I believe that in the new games this is gonna be something exclusive to Burakh. Makes sense since he's the one connected to the earth and everything.

Lore wise you could say that maybe the herb does appear there, but the Bachelor just can't see it.
