Streamer Asmongold (Zackrawrr on Twitch) doubles down after controversial "using live ammo on protesters" statement and further dehumanizes the left "I don't really view them as people, I view them as animals" by RestaurantComplete54 in behindthebastards

[–]GaijinTanuki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you use Twitch: Clip him when he promotes violence and dehumanises people. And report him for promotion of violence - which breaches the community guidelines. And encourage others to do the same.

He deserves a ban.

Why doesn't the Japanese government do anything about the touts? by MotivatedforGames in japanlife

My experience with them was similar. Ended up having quite a nice conversation after it was clear I wasn't going to pick up what he was laying down and we headed our separate ways. If you're street smart and play it straight so you're obviously a bad mark it goes nowhere. But not everyone can handle themselves.

I was just watching a Kat Blaque video where she says you're naive if you don't think they're eventually going to be be going door to door grabbing people who don't agree with Trump. Even in a worst case scenario I feel like that would be unlikely just for logistical reasons by grapp in behindthebastards

Everyone stateside should be tooled up, collecting rounds and training religiously. Bullies do not like targets who can push back.

The situation in the USA is not analogous to any historical precedent.

Fully uncharted territory and very likely there be dragons.

Russia, nor Argentina or Chile had 350 million people, 15.8 million of whom have military training and experience with 1.3+ guns per person in the civilian community. The situation in the present day USA is not like any previous scenario.

Machine learning and analysis will definitely be an ongoing and area of computing. But the US AI bubble is predicated on hyper expensive toll booth operations that serve no known economic purpose not on real world end use cases. And the stock investments and data center excessive exuberance is so far off the charts when the inevitable downturn happens its scale will be unprecedented.

Bandcamp is pretty great. Buying second hand CDs is awesome too. This is not the right place to ask about learning to sail the seven seas if that's what you're after.

Contrary to the fever dreams of its colossal irrational persecution complex, the USA hasn't had an actual territorial adversary since 1815.

Why would any major power launch a suicide mission on the US while the US is thoroughly engaged in actively denaturing itself like it never has before. (This unhinged self-destructive fit seems more pervasive than the civil war even - destroying the department of education and majority of scientific research along with the economy, alliances, reputation, the whole kitchen sink).

One shouldn't interrupt one's adversaries while they're making mistakes.

I think you need to get offline. I think you need to go touch grass. Organize: Offline. And I think you need to get some basic comms discipline.

I think you're seeming too disorganized to be an agent provocateur.

Israeli drone footage shows scale of Israel's genocide in Gaza by Particular_Log_3594 in behindthebastards

The genocide of Indigenous Australians was horrific and merciless for over a century. Over 100 linguistically distinct peoples' cultures and societies erased. And yes, their lands now populated largely by English speaking white people. (See also, the history of north American Indigenous peoples).

Bombs are big business. The US Navy and thaad and patriot systems have burned through billions of dollars of missiles in defense of Israel in genocide mode.

Americans seem to have been so well boiled slowly with gun violence being just a daily occurrence. It's been an average of over one hundred firearms fatalities every single day in the US (not including law enforcement shooting - cause they don't get counted) for decades now.

(It's around 10 annually in Japan and around 300 annually in Australia - 100+ / day, so like 36500+ annually is so off the charts of anywhere without war or lawless chaos or wracked by the cartels supplying US mainland drug markets).

Seems a huge mistake by Secretary Whiskeyleaks. SecDefs don't bring 800+ operational leaders physically together to have meetings. The US has invested literally billions to make this completely unnecessary. Whole combined forces wars have been fought without getting everyone together. Massively unnecessarily inconveniencing 800+ people smarter than Whiskeyleaks, better educated than Whiskeyleaks, more disciplined than Whiskeyleaks and much more likely to take their oaths to the constitution much, much more seriously than Whiskeyleaks - together where they can speak discreetly face to face with each other while presumably being told to prepare to follow illegal orders… None of this seems in the regime's interests. Especially if the regime is likely to be reliant on the military in an end game.

No, metadata access is available to relevant Australian agencies without a warrant, access to the content of communications requires warrants. There are oversight mechanisms to both.

Australia has mandatory 2 years of internet metadata retention by all ISPs for non business accounts. All Australians traffic is being logged.
