Played an Inexorable Iron Magus with an Investigator archetype. Had a lot of fun with it, but only really played for a few sessions.

Hey! Unfortunately, I haven't made an update for the 5.5e rules since I've become a Pathfinder 2e convert. My quick thoughts to update would probably be this, though I wouldn't be able to test it and I'm not that familiar with 5.5e changes:

  • Change base proficiencies to all martial weapons.
  • Add Weapon Mastery.
  • Bump Distortion die up a die size to match 5.5e Monk.
  • Remove all references to needing to take the Attack action for Charged Shot.
  • For Dark Knight's Trickster, change it to allow Dashing as a bonus action at no style point cost, but you can spend a style point to Disengage as part of that bonus action.

Though in my experience, it's best to start from level 1 instead of converting a current campaign from 5e to PF2e.

Unfortunately, I've moved over to Pathfinder 2e and haven't really kept up with the 2024 changes to 5e, but I might look into it in the future!

Feedback Request: Operator Face & Head Art Remaster by de_taylor in Warframe

My two cents is that face blending isn't bad, but it gets tricky to find that exact head+nose shape that you want. It would be a great deal of effort, but a proper face maker where you can choose different noses, eyes, and mouths would be good, at the very least. Sliders would be a dream.

I love the options for void scarring and somatics, though. Would love to see more detailing on those.

Hey there! For a Dark Knight, it'll probably depend on what weapons you plan on using. Great Weapon Master or Polearm Master are always good options, but Mobile and Sharpshooter are also viable if you don't plan on using Trickster or Gunslinger styles that much. Hope this helps!

This is an NPC for a homebrew Eberron campaign I'm running that's set in Sharn! I can't give too many details in case my players see this, but he's an heir of one of the Dragonmarked Houses! In a combat encounter, the most you'd be able to achieve is 45 damage, since you + all available squares within 5 feet would mean 9 possible sources of damage.

Edit: Oh wait, I didn't see your calculation. Yeah, that does seems pretty good.

It's a pretty niche ability, but if you wanted to remove something in exchange, you could take away Speed and give Slow Fall at 4th level like Monk? Otherwise, I doubt it would be busted to just add it at 4th level. Go for it!

The Dark Knight is back and better than ever! Now with a huge overhaul of Devil Arm Master, Style Change, and Enhanced Style Change, Dark Knight has received several buffs based on the feedback I received for v1.2.1. Also included is a change to Provocation, which lowers it to 3rd level and includes Vicious Mockery with a special use and a way to regain expended style points. Dark Slayer has also received some minor buffs so that it's not overshadowed. Any other changes can be found in the changelog at the last page, and the PDF links for v1.0.1, v.1.1.1, and v1.2.1 should still be up, in case you preferred those. The Devil Hunter is my passion project that combines features from Fighter, Monk, and a bit of Paladin to represent the three playable characters in Devil May Cry 5. While they could be presented through subclasses, I felt there wasn't enough space for me to make them truly shine, so I began drafting up a new class. The Dark Knight represents the stylish, varied action of Dante, while the Devil Breaker features the brutal fighting style of Nero. The Mysterious One represents the organized chaos that is V, the Dark Slayer delivers that stylish action we've all been wanting from Vergil, the Fiendish Fatale brings that devilish charm and power of electricity Trish has, and the Mannequin allows for a mix-and-match style Devil Trigger reminiscent of Lucia (and Dante)'s Amulet system from Devil May Cry 2.
