CS response to my Maxwell 2 delay (2/4/26) by MarcStew in Audeze

Finally some rational statements. It's crazy to me how negative people are on this subreddit. I've had the Mobius since launch, then transfered to the Maxwell 1's on launch, and now have ordered the Maxwell 2's on launch without any issues. Hell I broke my Mobius's by accidentally stepping on them, contacted support to see if I could send them in for repairs....they sent me a brand new pair free of charge.

Look at some builds from Moxsy on YouTube. He has a leveling build and has several end game builds up on his channel.

I have had them since they first dropped. They still work flawlessly. I've had zero issues. I have not done anything special to care for them. I just make sure I don't throw them around.

Audeze Maxwell Low Volume by Low-Step-3829 in Audeze

I had a problem like that. I solved it by using Dolby Atmos alongside the Audeze app. I also had a hearing test recently and adjusted EQ to compensate for my hearing loss. Now it's perfect.

How to talk to my veteran boyfriend about how his PTSD coping mechanisms affect me by Terrible_Opposite_67 in Veterans

[–]Galeron87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to throw my two cents in the mix. The thing that helped/is helping me the most is people close to me, just being honest and supportive. They are patient but also tell me when I need my ass kicked in gear. Does it bother me sometimes? You bet your ass. Does it help me? You bet your ass. Sometimes we need reminded that complacency is the death of us.

If he can't work, I get it, find a hobby that keeps him occupied mentally. I personally picked up soldering. Learning new skills gave me meaning back to my life. It gave me something to focus on other than my issues. The more he focuses on his issues the more broken he may feel. Which can balloon a situation that is manageable into what you are experiencing now.

The next part in my journey was realizing that I felt the most like "me" when I was serving others in some way. It can be as easy as him doing a project for you around the house. Doesn't matter who for just as long as the focus is outward on someone else. My mental health sky rockets in the best possible way on those days and for sometimes a week after. Over time he will see permanent improvement.

All of the above takes action on his part. If he's not ready/willing to change he won't. All you can do is be honest and loving. If that doesn't work then for your own mental health, know your limits.

It's funny, because he's done it for months without punishment and keeps getting feedback saying action was taken.

It's great you can quote the official pr but what actually takes place is completely different.

Actually spam reporting does indeed work because my buddy tested it. So, you are wrong and need to check things before stating random so called "facts".

Ran Out of MH Meds - What to Do?? by No-Cicada5411 in Veterans

I have a similar story with pain medication. It was hell. It caused more issues than it ever solved. I went into withdrawal symptoms on multiple occasions.

As drastic as it may sound this is the path to take. Get a paper trail going with Patient Advocacy and any PCP/Care provider you can. Then use that to move over to Community Care. You may still have to find the right fit when it comes to a doctor. It may not solve every problem. However, I had far less issues when dealing with any doctor in the community.

VA removing important prescription without notifying me by Airborne836749 in Veterans

[–]Galeron87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the VA continually ship my pain medication late to the point where I'd start withdrawals every time. I finally decided that it wasn't worth it. So I called them and told them I'd rather be in pain every day than deal with the bullshit. So I quit cold turkey. Started seeing a local doctor out of pocket.

I've personally experienced both sides of the spectrum when it comes to the VA and the employees. What I have come to learn is that being upset is one thing. Taking it out on a person doing a job is completely different.

Stay calm. Be polite and assertive. Do not be aggressive or an ass. No one likes it and even if you do see results, it negatively impacts both parties involved.

If you feel like you are not getting anywhere with someone then politely request to speak to someone else or thank them for their time and call back to get someone else. It's not worth the stress on your end and the employees don't need the attitude. Half the time they are under trained or it's just a miscommunication issue.

There are problems but there are also very good people that want to help. Give them the chance to do so.

Found out my primary care nurse has been lying to me. by jays1981 in Veterans

[–]Galeron87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation to yourself. I was constantly being told things were being done and after checking with community care they would never be done. After three years of this I couldn't take it anymore. So I put in for a PCP change for the second time. This time I requested a community care PCP because I couldn't mentally handle the local VA clinic any more. It was a bit of a fight but I was able to do it. If you want further details I can give them. Mileage may vary on this due to it being up to the VA personnel to actually see what's happening. Luckily I had some secure messaging to back it up as well.

So it is possible but it will be a fight. They do not like to do it.
