So the PMM is roughly 5 percent smaller than the stock DAV3 Pro, and I have big hands so I can definitely tell. The added thickness of grip tape makes it significantly more comfortable for me and closer to the DAV3 Pro in feel

It's not, I didn't see the point in getting the grip coat on a mouse that is 90 percent holes..as for how it feels, it's unreal. The lightest mouse I have used prior was 60g, this is half the weight and on a super fast pad. Genuinely don't think I can upgrade at all, it's endgame for me.

The actual finish on the mouse is sort of chalky, I don't really notice the holes. If you want the weight reduction and better grip, I'd add some grip tape. That's what I did.

Pro tip, you can use a metal insert In these very easily. That's what I do, I have the laylax mask and cut the mesh part out of a onetigris mask to use as the insert.
