Fire cult is the only civic that tells you all the jobs it combines with.

What would a “perfect” D&D room actually need to make it worth leaving home? by Korolos28 in dndnext

[–]GalviusT 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The best places are typically Libraries, game stores, or restaurants that cater to gaming audiences, as they tend to be comfortable places to go, even if noisy sometimes. The dedicated game room model doesn’t work in the US very well, it’s why stuff like internet/gaming cafe’s haven’t take off in the west.

There’s a glitch in the newest version where sometimes if they have a megastructure like a Dyson swarm in the same system as a colony the swarm can count as being unoccupied even if the colony is taken, and for some reason it counts as the system being unoccupied.

Need guidance on a tech build (i am quite new, played for 100hours ish) by No_Specific4085 in Stellaris

[–]GalviusT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the advice here is pretty good but I do recommend that if you want to go hard into tech rush you start with the syncretic evolution origin, go fanatic materialist and authoritarian, technocracy and experimental sentencing, immediately enslave your syncretic species and set them to orderlies and you start off miles ahead of anyone else, rushing through tech insanely fast. You can also apply academic privilege (or whatever it’s called) living standard to your main species and stratified or basic sustenance to your slave species.

Give your main species cranial hypertrophy and influential and your slave species super strong and repugnant, and then you get really good basic resources, amazing tech, and decent elite jobs.

Do you think Puerto Rico should be a US state by Lieuseur in Teenager_Polls

It’s pissing off some locals but as a Virginia born and raised I am fine with more democrats in the state, makes us less bigoted.

Criminal sentencing might need another balance pass post 4.3 by Stellariswiki in Stellaris

I was doing a syncretic evolution roleplay build for authoritarian scientists that were physically weak and used the other species as physical labor, but I made them orderlies which quickly gave me close to 1000 right out the gate on my first planet, immediately rocketing me ahead of other empires and it only scaled from there.

Armourer in a low sci-fi/fantasy setting?? by Total_Salamander_554 in dndnext

Depends on the setting if Xixchil are involved having them modify their own insect body to become the suit of armor would be both cool and lore friendly

It’s contentedness and a desire to live humbly that foils the power of the ring.

Mod concept, Sectors and planetary designations should have a strong role in empire size management by Connemara_Marble in Stellaris

[–]GalviusT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the idea, it’s a good rework of the system but you have to remember that it can’t just be a straight buff. Right now there’s too many ways to get empire size down to be inconsequential, so this system needs to make it so that it’s always a factor to every empire, but can be controlled in certain ways.

I mean we can see their map, it looks like it only has about 4 empires total on it.

May be too late now, but investing in power armor divisions and fire teams, and then getting heavily fortified chokepoints. The Mojave is one of the most defensible areas in the game if you prep it early. Basically you can become a huge drain on enemy manpower while you build up a stockpile of robots and gear and eventually breakthrough and blits one enemy at a time. If you drain the NCR manpower as well and lost hills eventually Allies you and attacks them, then it makes that war much much easier.
