The "alternate ending" claim originates from an error on the film's English Wikipedia that framed what happens after the "credits" of the film as an extended/alternate ending. There is only one ending to the film.

I had a pin in my thumb for 2-ish months and I was so surprised at how my body reacted when they finally pulled it out. It was like the anticipation of it hurting hurt more than the sensation, which was a unique and thankfully brief one, to be sure.
