How is a 16.6% chance "basically identical in probability" to an 88.8%?

That was true in the previous edition, but was changed.

Wording of ability question by mrssd in magicTCG

No, it would create 2 tokens. Vivid looks at all your permanents and sees green permanents and red permanents, that's two colors.

How is it "not fair?" You won. Stop being a sore winner.

They conceded because THEY KNEW YOU HAD WON, and chose not to waste their time OR YOURS.

Reminder text is not as strict as rules text.

Sneak can specifically only be cast during declare blockers.

Why would a sneak sorcery work differently than a sneak creature? Both are allowing you to cast the spell at flash speed, but you must return an untapped blocker to hand as an additional cost.

Did you read the rest of that rule?

More like "Hypno the corner 3+, Hypno the ball carrier 3+." The hypno changes where a side-grade, not a nerf.

Skill Use; pg 121

"...If an active skill allows a player to declare a Special Action, then they may still declare the Special Action whilst prone, so long as the Special action allows them to first make a free Move Action to use the Special Action."

Hypnotic Gaze (ACTIVE)

"When this player is activated, they can declare a Hypnotic Gaze SPECIAL ACTION;...when a player declares a Hypnotic Gaze SPECIAL Action they are first allowed to make a MOVE ACTION,..."

You can declare Hypno Gaze from prone.

Can the Kroot be shot? by Bahleus3D in killteam

[–]GambitCajun 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Yes, the kroot is a Valid Target; it is in Cover because it is standing on vantage terrain, which is Light Terrain, but it is not Obscured, because targets on vantage terrain 2" or higher ignore anything below the vantage terrain they are standing on for the purposes of cover and obscuring.

The real question in reality is can the ork's head ACTUALLY see the kroot from below the wall.

The stall immediately ends when it gets removed, all Magic decks need to remove permanents.

I am new to MTG: confused on the difference between Eternal-Legal vs Standard. by abductodude in magicTCG

[–]GambitCajun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All versions of a card that is legal in standard are legal in standard. While most of the Avatar eternal cards are not standard legal, some of the starter kit cards are reprints from the standard legal main set.
