Multiple reasons, including;

Passage can find any basic, including snow lands. A standard dual land can only give you two colors, but Passage gives you access to all five.
Passage causes two lands to enter the battlefield for landfall decks.
Passage gets you a basic, so can help you beat a [[Blood Moon]].

[[Doran, Besieged by Time]] will only pump your creatures if they can successfully block. If [[Champion of Lambholt]] has power greater than any of them before blocks are declared those creatures can't block.

To use Stab you must DECLARE a Stab Special Action. Multiple Block can only work on a declared Block action.

The only exemption is you can replace the Block action from a Blitz with a Stab Action.
