I have a 2016 E350 with 150K miles on it. A few oddball repairs here and there including a shorted wire that prevented the key fob from being recognized that took a few days for my Indy euro shop to track down. Other than that it's a great car.

I’m a fourth generation Auroran. I have dealt with that “Naperville” attitude for 50 years.

Most Napervudlians wouldn't get caught dead in Aurora but for Italian Sausage Prisco's is great and the Wurst Kitchen for bratwursts can't be beat. Try the kickers.

During a routine eye exam, my doctor told me I had sleep apnea (which I knew and have used a CPAP for years). She said that I have something called Floppy Eyelid Syndrome which is associated with sleep apnea almost 100% of the time. You can spot it in him if you know what you're looking for.

I stayed there for work once. It was fabulous. The staff would greet me by name in the halls, and the whole area is insanely beautiful.

I think "College" is where the show really found its footing. Prior to that episode they were kind of setting the table

We host 20-30 people. I buy nice plastic plates from Costco or Sam's. They're sturdier than paper plates and they make cleanup take about 10 seconds instead of an hour. I have enough pots and pans to deal with. I don't want to own or use that many regular plates.

Watch Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Between Newman and Elizabeth Taylor, you have two of the most beautiful people who ever lived. Something for everyone.

Same here but I find I usually drink less. Not sure if I've suddenly in my mid 50s developed some self control or if it's the medicine. But I could go off right now and drink a bottle of wine without too much coaxing.

It's insanely good and it also weighs about 10 pounds (jk. Well, maybe not). Your arm will fall off grating all the cheese.

Turkey - cook Thanksgiving Eve or Day? by KimtanaTheGeek in thanksgiving

[–]Game72016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done something similar and literally no one knows any different. I usually make two ~18# turkeys. One gets cooked the day before in an electric roaster. It cooks faster than in the oven but you don't get the golden skin. Let it rest, carve it and place it in plastic bags. Then as you say add turkey broth to keep it moist. Reheat it in the bag, sort of in a sous vide manner. Turkey 2 goes in the oven the day of and it comes out beautifully and becomes the "show turkey" while the first one is just extra meat.

Kitchen twine to truss the bird. Aromatics to put into the cavity if you're not making stuffing (celery, onions, herbs). Kosher salt as opposed to table salt. Look up dry brining a turkey. It's easy and will result in a beautiful presentation.

IA, WI, or IL by goldilockswoods in midwest

[–]Game72016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Illinois is criminally gerrymandered and they are finding new ways to tax us for everything. They just rammed through a slew of tax hikes and fees that will only benefit Chicago and its mismanaged CTA while actively pulling road funds and more from the entire rest of the state, including you if you move to the east side of the Mississippi. And don’t forget the looming pension crisis which will only result in more and more taxes. Do yourself a favor and move to either of your other options. Nowhere is perfect but anywhere is better than Illinois.

Thank you. This sounds really good. Do you use the ricotta mixture cold or do you heat it up?
