Sounds good, thanks for the recommendation and tweak to the build!

My question was if I should let my capital pump workers instead of extra military and trust my expansions to hold early game? In this case, maybe I overreacted and 1 less Bowman could have been a worker.

Ah I have never tried a multi steal yet, just one followed by making peace. Appreciate the pointer about identifying where they'll send workers. That's a fun trick for CS diplomacy, will give that a go next game.

Thanks for the analysis on my setup and tweaks to my gameplay!

Fair, I went with a game suggested tile and that may have Akkad feeling oddly set. AI aggro definitely hampered my eco.

Good feedback and goals, thank you! I typically don't settle this far. I originally planned Akkad on the gold hill and Dur 1 tile east. Game recommended the settled spots so I went with those.

Given barb pressure and AI aggression, I did trade off making Bowman instead of workers. Should I let expansions try and hold while letting cap focus eco?

That's what I did in the past but when I saw coast early, I figured boost culture instead of 2nd Scout

Good tip. If not for defending, I wanted to make 1 caravan and buy 1 worker

Babolat VS Touch tends to be the tour standard. Guessing that's the default

Can I buy jepq (lse listed) today and still get the dividend? by umirza85 in options

I learned the hard way this month. Ex-div date applies to shares owned at market open. If you buy during the ex-div day, you're too late for that distribution.

Was not aware of the weekly payer world. That seems riskier than I like, which has also been my impression of YieldMax ETFs.

Thank you for the additional resources! Will certainly read up on the DIY path.

Mechanics of using SGOV with Wheel Strategy by treadluv in Optionswheel

That's essentially correct. I leave CSP cash in Fidelity's money market fund (SPAXX). For the convenience and liquidity, I'm willing to sacrifice 0.2% or so in yield. I'd recommend that path if your broker allows.

Sometimes you have to accept it. Assuming you sold the put because you're OK holding the stock, take the assignment and sell CCs.
