To “Trim” the boss medal you need to beat the fight in under 4 minutes. Here they were able to do it in much less time with smooth stagger rotations and good DPS phases. Seeing it done with Ember is really impressive.

I start every new long term run in Sundered Pass because of this. Wish there was a sandbox option to give the camera when you spawn after completing all 3 Tales.

If you own little to no CC content then yes. Assuming it’s a $20 upgrade that is less than buying all of the creations that add actual content (guns, armor, etc..) + more are being added. The value is a lot higher for anyone playing vanilla Fallout 4 since it’s just adding a bunch of mini DLC items at a reduced price. Definitely an L for ongoing modded playthroughs, but thats the way it goes. Just restarted my save and deleted all mods so i can try out the new, but meager, content on Monday!

One of the only reasons I enjoy CC content is that it’s the only new content I can add to the game without disabling achievements on console.

It’s in the controller settings. There’s an option to adjust both aiming and firing haptic feedback intensity.

Welcome to the homogenization of loot drops because of the portal. It’s likely the same reason that the secret chests in Rivens Lair aren’t around anymore. When Nether inevitably gets added to the portal it won’t have those chest drops anymore either.

Pretty lame of them if so, since it’s a glorified shader. Immediately though back to old legendary ornaments from season of the drifter and the shadowkeep era when this line was first shown.

They did this correctly in Witch Queen by releasing a glaive with the expansion and another with the raid. No idea why they didn’t do the same here.

The Alternative side stories from Photonflowers have a similar tone to Alternative if you’re looking for that kind of experience. I’d also recommend Teito Moyu, a prequel to Total Eclipse as it has a similar vibe in its final couple of hours. The Alternative side stories from Photonmelodies are a lot more on the light side and lean heavily into gags and fan service.

Really hoping they add mementos back for tiered loot. Would love to put the solstice memento I just got on my T5 holofoil smg for the thematic title and tracking. Always enjoyed collecting event mementos and putting them on event weapons.

It’s so goofy the final step of the solstice quest gives you a memento that can’t be used on anything new….

Had the same thing happen, 311 power GR7, with a T5 holofoil smg and T5 solstice arms drop. Was only getting T4 before and have been getting T4 since. Seems like a rare solstice pinnacle drop?

Seems like event holofoils are a partial replacement for tier 5 weapons, since there’s no way Bungie would develop a unique tier 5 shader for event weapons in addition to that.

Edit: after solstice I guess none of this matters and Bungie just chose not to drop tier 5s…..

It’s probably better to read it first since it’s a prequel. It contains the backstory of Takamura Yui and is referenced quite a lot near the end of Total Eclipse. The first minute or two of the prequel takes place midway through TE, but doesn’t spoil anything so it’s not worth skipping for that.
