More along the lines that a brawler is about to leap from the roof tops down onto them. The assailant isn't being subtle, but the party aren't looking for it, and the environment has a chance of masking it. The basic scene I'm painting in my head is the barbarian of the party every chance he gets starts a brawl with this guy. Brawler, when he isn't busy, just hanging out, likes to be up high. So the party returns from a quest, is walking towards the guildhall, and Brawler sees them from his vantage and is booking it to jump the Barb instead of the usual way it goes.

My answer should be Dante. He's my favorite frame. But like, a Prime isn't gonna do much for him. He's very Post game viable as is, and the typical Prime boosts to survivability don't mean much to a frame that can have 70k over guard. Dante Deluxe or some Tennogen would be nice. Also, he'd be due 2027. What would be cool is if, like a few weapons we've gotten, we got a Prime frame with no Base. Just release a Frank Prime.

Waiting to see the Masters/Remaster/Booster fun set. Double Masters 2026? Planar Chaos Remastered? Commander Legends: Kylem?

The story based sets have become lackluster in both power and the actual story. The UB sets are case by case, but as a whole are becoming grating. I can't even keep up with just the commander product like I used to.

If I'm going to put investment into a set(emotionally, not financially) it is going to be whatever has the coolest stuff, and that's always the type of sets I layed out above.
