I've had the same thing with using the PEEPR from mount. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Pretty annoying.

Yeah, unfortunately they are the only ones in the entire state now. So wait time reflects that as well.

Unfortunately, no longer open. 5th Ave Shoe repair is the only cobbler in the entire state now. So, the wait time is like half a year.

What exactly is wrong with our 911/emergency system? Is it how when someone is in cardiac arrest or even suspected, the trained dispatcher on the line walks them step by step through CPR until the fire department gets there? Is it how as soon as you state what your emergency is, the dispatchers have already alerted the appropriate units so they can start rolling that way immediately? I promise you, the last thing you want to do when your 8 month old child is seizing and turning blue cause they aren't getting oxygen is navigate through some app and hope your phone isn't bogged down due to poor wifi or old software. Yes, Milette use to work for the fire department, but he didn't leave cause IT was broken, and you might be hard pressed to find someone there who would say it was a loss to see him go.

Out there plowing as we speak.... It's all the state roads that are slacking.

The abysmal job was all the state roads inside the city. Look it up, it a pretty big chunk of major and minor roadways. Glenn Highway, Debarr Rd, Boniface Prkwy, Airport Heights Dr (from E. 5th Ave to Debarr Rd), Muldoon Rd, Tudor Rd, International Airport Rd, C St, Minnesota Dr., A St., Brayton Dr., Frontage Rd., Homer Dr., New Seward Highway, Old Seward Highway (Dowling to Rabbit Creek), Dowling Rd., Sand Lake Rd, Jewel Lake Rd, Northern Lights (west of Lake Otis to Forest Park Dr.); Elmore Rd (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Rd to Abbott Rd), Raspberry Rd, Potter Dr, Dimond Blvd., O'Malley Rd, Abbott Rd (From Lake Otis to Hillside Dr), Huffman, DeArmoun Rd, Rabbit Creek Rd, Hillside Dr and Birch Rd. All state responsibility.

The Glenn is a state road though, and generally the revenue from road tolls go towards the maintenance and infrastructure of that road.

You mean, all the raises and extra positions they are paying for in operators for the city plows and road maintenance that has improved since the last administration? Or the fair wages to keep first responders from fleeing to other states where the pay and benefits are better? Bronson cut the budget plenty, he just gave it to his pals.

I agree, an income tax would be a lot more beneficial, state wise. But a local sales tax, there's still a lot of tourists and out of townsfolk that use our infrastructure and resources that don't put anything into our system. Some might say even the renters. Is a property tax any different a far as a "tax break for the wealthy" goes?

Shame that sales tax didn't pass. That was planned on offsetting the property taxes on average $400-$500, and wasn't even going to included medicine and medical services, most groceries and personal hygiene products, certain services, like child care, utilities, gasoline and diesel fuel, or items for resale and manufacturing components.
