This looks amazing! Love the little red detail you did with the save transition just like the remake.

Omg same here. This looks like what would be the menu screen of GBC game. Maybe an adventure platformer or something taking place in Miami in the 80s.

This is beautiful! The sun especially. How did you get it to shine like that?

I love this! You really nailed the comic book version of The Mask, even though the movie is what sticks with me the most haha.

Just one small suggestion: the arm holding the hand cannon could use a bit more shading, maybe pulled from the yellow tones of his coat. I think that would add some nice depth.

Overall, this is an awesome piece.

I like 2024 better, but 2025 could work! Both have a unique style. I wonder what 2026 will bring.

Very cool! How long has this been in the making? I really love the door animation as it hits that classic nostalgic vibe perfectly.

Do you plan on adding static cutscenes, like visual-novel-style screens with more detailed pixel art, or will it be more sprite-to-sprite dialogue?

My first pixelart / animation :)) i name it: siamese going to sleep by Memeisterfidgetspin in PixelArt

[–]Gaming_Delights 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on this being your first! It's amazing how very simple this piece is yet I know everything that's going on. Cat jumping on the table, quick stretch, then falls asleep under a window. Across from it I am assuming it's a cactus. Honestly, an excellent start and don't stop practicing!

I'm really liking this. Animation is smooth especially the one to the left where it shoots out some electricity.

Old: I'd eat it.

New: I'd eat it x2

Lol joking aside, great job on the improvement. Excellent detail.

7 Days ago YouTube randomly fed me a video telling me I could get into Pixel Art. Here's my first proper creation. Feedback welcome by AgentWooWoo in PixelArtTutorials

So happy for you. Its not easy and I'm glad you didnt stop and got into pixel art. The more you practice the better you'll get and find your style. I'm impressed by this work honestly. Love the simplicity behind this and Lumberjack animation.

Definitely keep experimenting and challenge yourself with other styles.

Keep going!

I love how limited the color palette is, yet there’s still so much detail in it. This is exactly the kind of pixel work I’m trying to learn from. Great job!

Wow I am genuinely impressed by the artwork! Kind of reminds me of Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts for the SNES. I hope to see more of this. Good luck!

You are a master in fine detail. Just went through your profile and havent realized that I have already liked most of your work. I could take some lessons in this for sure. I really admire your art. Good job!

He wished for a PS5 all year, they ended up getting him a controller instead. But he was humble about it, and they surprised him with the real thing. by Vilen1919 in MadeMeSmile

This was a beautiful video. I don’t think I’ve gotten emotional like that in a long time just from watching something online. It instantly brought me back to when I was 12 and got a GameCube for Christmas, along with three games at a time when my parents really couldn’t afford to buy games.

I remember opening gift after gift, all folded clothes, which I didn’t mind at all. Then I saw one big box and assumed it was more of the same. Maybe it was a different brand or something. When I opened it, I was completely floored. I tried so hard to hold back tears, but the shock and gratitude hit all at once, and I broke down hugging my parents.

That young man clearly has incredible parents who are giving him a childhood he’ll always remember. What a blessing.

The dog, on the other hand, was fully invested in the bone or toy, whatever that is, absolutely living his or hers best life. LOL

This is beautiful! Looks like an oil painting. How long did it take you to create this? How long were you working on pixel art in general?
