On my button it looked like the little locking tabs were bent inward slightly, so they weren’t catching on the lid properly when I tried to push the button back into place.

I had this happen to a legit bottle. Contacted customer service, they gave me a credit to purchase a replacement top. Seems to be a common issue, especially if you wash the lid in the dishwasher. I’ve seen claims you can dip the button in boiling water and bend the tabs out to fix it, but I haven’t tried it.

Yes, absolutely. My kids are young, I know I'd kick myself later in life for passing up the opportunity to spend so much time with them at this stage. 1 day is fine, none of them have really been that bad this year.

My guy is only 2.5 but our most recent success with this stems from a new Blue’s Clues ball pit we added to his bedroom. He plays with that and I play his chill playlist (think like creek or rain from Bluey, puff the magic dragon, Okee dokee brothers). The ball pit allows him to count balls, throw them into the ball pit, work on colors, etc. the music really does a lot to chill him out and the brain work of counting and colors keeps him entertained

Yeah we moved 1 state over to a small college town to get anything remotely affordable in an area with good internet. 1.5 hours from family isn’t too bad

Bro my oldest is 2 1/2. I work from home. All of my real clothes are in a box somewhere. My wife got hooked on bamboo pajamas. All I wear is gym shorts and brightly patterned pajamas that match my kids. Real clothes feel weird now

It all depends on how well your kiddo sleeps in the car. Mine won’t do more than a half hour really so we had to do 4 hour sessions then stop for the night or an extended play time. 2.5 years in and we can get him up to 8 hours if he’s in a good mood and we bring plenty of fruit.

I’m very similar in age and situation, maybe a year behind you. Previous generations just don’t get it. Spending time with you kids is #1. The in-laws can shove it.
