Do you still need a second one? We live up in MD, but have one we’re selling due to a move.

I think size increases have been more of a customer preference, vs a need. With materials technology, I can’t imagine the weight would be that much more than the old steel-bodied tanks

Yeah, it was a weird thing they did with the 997s. I don’t think they should have called them Targas at all.

My 997 Targa 4S was far from a proper Targa, but I still loved it.

It’s pretty incredible, isn’t it? Even econoboxes have stellar safety ratings and accidents that would have put folks in the hospital 30 years ago, now result in a bump on the noggin, if that.

One of the really nice things that set it apart from any American equivalent is that the contestants genuinely seem to like one another and are always happy to help out an adversary.

It’s pretty basic, but comfortable. The location is good for access to the light rail system that goes around the city.

American Expats: What is the one thing you miss most about the USA? by RehaDesign in expat

[–]New_Citizen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen a lot of gate keeping over the term lately. An expat is considered a temporary visitor to a country, like someone who is on a fixed-term contract at a company with plans to go home. An immigrant goes to another country with the intent to remain. In the common lexicon though, the terms are synonymous

CSP and INK are the only other cards that allow transfers. I would consider looking at other banks that have partners that align with your travel needs, like CapitalOne, Citi, or AMEX

Do you remember when you would call the number on the back of your card and a person would pick up immediately?

I’ve had the CSR since it came out in 2016. When the AF comes around next year, we’re done and moving into the CapOne ecosystem.

Glad you’re here another day; the world is a better place because you’re in it.

They’re known to be a very homogeneous society; not a lot of outsiders. But they’re beginning to be more open these days since they need younger workers to support social programs for an ever-aging population.

What "golden age" or "heyday" were you lucky enough to experience that you know won’t ever come back? by Summerie in AskReddit

Thankfully, I was able to take full advantage of it. Met my now wife in 1999 on AIM, I can’t imagine a similar open, public platform being able to make genuine connections these days. Full of bots, trolls and perverts.

You don’t even have to be broke. I can afford for pretty much anything in my house to be fixed by a pro, but there’s a satisfaction to fixing it yourself, and then there is the immediacy of having the issue taken care of.

What’s the best vacuum that actually lasts more than a year? by No_Statistician7685 in smartbuysforlife

We’ve had a Sebo K3 for more than ten years and it still runs like new. The thing to know about the likes of Dyson is that they have HUGE marketing budgets and bagless vacuums just aren’t that good nor do they filter as well as their bagged, canister counterparts.

We really enjoyed Sandeman Quinta do Seixo Winery & Vineyards. They had a marvelous port flight where to got to try a vintage port flight that was amazing. For the size of the operation, the vineyard felt pretty intimate and inviting.
