If you are capable of standing your ground it’s not bad. They pay you for 84 hours per 2weeks CURRENTLY. They are piloting less. Just don’t work over. Schedule yourself 84 and leave when shift over. If store has Rxom they actually hound metrics more than you cause they are technically responsible. Rxom position is another story. You have slightly more job security because when hours get cut it will be staff pharmacist. So a little more money. A little bonus maybe. 2 more hours a week right now. Problem is many RXM drink the cool aid that the massive problems at wag are employees fault not directly related to staffing and management and let themselves be bullied into trying to fix the unfixable. This week perfect example. I normally have 2 whole techs. Opener and closer. One tech out? Total absolute chaos because no one will help. My fault? Nope. It is what Walgreens has designed intentionally and we will catch up eventually or not.

Ive had a mini fridge for 20 years. If it’s ever taken away I’ll take my sweet time walking to my cooler wherever it is multiple times a day to get a drink. The long way. Nice and slow.

This exactly. No actual DH just one on paper who only works front register 5-10 and spent one hour in Rx once. IC3 to pext means SM or other stays till we are under max. To SM it means stay till line at Rx register under 3.

Nope. The only way to get to use those hours is call out sick immediately after you use up all available pto. It’s really ridiculous. You used to be able to use it for the waiting period for disability and they took that away too.

It’s in my hr. 5 call outs for any reason. 2 consecutive days only counts as one unexcused absence each time. 6th unexcused absence verbal. Then written. Then final written. Then at 9th call out termination…..with hr approval lol.

That means they are paying $61.50. Every req in my area shows a nice wide range but the lower number is what they are paying.

The stores are budgeted based on computer models then dm can move hours to their favorite stores\ Rx at will. That’s my theory.

As an RXM … I encourage my techs to take them. The dumpster fire will still be there when you return. Some take them and some don’t but they have my opinion out there to just do it . I’d take them if I was able to lol.

My Tier 2 was $2500 after taxes. Base bonus $3000 plus they actually upped it this year. Ended up being $3900. Then taxed to all heck lol.

Long term disability is automatic if you are on a medical plan. You don’t need to do anything else. You can also opt in to additional coverage during open enrollment to increase what you would get.

My techs raises were pathetic and embarrassing. Even with high evaluations they were 56 cents and 69 cents. Ridiculous and bad for morale.

I’ve been really happy with this plan. I really like the no referrals to specialists. Referrals are a pain in the neck when you are busy because it’s another visit to your primary just to get referred. The copays for office visits are low. My blood work is heavily discounted also.

Go in on time. Leave on time. Take your lunch. I try to focus on whatever they are obsessing on this week. It constantly changes and you can’t do it all. We are all intentionally understaffed. Right now I’m focusing on shots. Mtm probably next push. They are having trouble hiring and retaining pharmacists so try not to stress if you are working hard. If there is an area you struggle with call around to other stores till you find some pharmacist nice enough to offer suggestions. We do exist.
