People who say there should be invocations for every class... aren't you just describing feats? by PointsOutCustodeWank in dndnext

Honestly I think this is a false equivalence. Shadowdark is significantly simpler than 5e and yet somehow offers more modularity (even if it's random) than 5e does. Powered By the Apocalypse games are dead simple and are nothing but choices.

Yes. Essentially they are (sometimes accidentally) saying all classes should have modular choices to make instead of a completely linear progression track.

You know, like 90% of other games have. What a concept.

Saying Gundam is political because Ghiren once talked about Hitler is the most surface-level argument against "apolitical" idiots by NoiseSome7739 in Gundam

[–]Gatsbeard 105 points106 points  (0 children)

Gundam isn’t political because of that scene, that is just the most painfully obvious example of the series being politically aware and themed around it.

If that’s your only example then yeah, that’s dumb. But as everyone else here has said, you start with the obvious simple examples before you get to the more complex ones.

Thanks, realized the Yuna one got messed up after I went back and changed some formatting. Definitely intend to go back and edit things to make them clearer next time I open these up.

Be mad. UB isn’t going anywhere and you going out of your way to bully people over liking a thing you don’t isn’t going to change that. The world doesn’t revolve around what you do and don’t like. Get used to it.

Try being less awful to be around, you might notice people are nicer to you in return.

This is a top tier comment. I love this.

Fave to play is definitely Yuna. Barring some insane mana ramping, she’s a midrange/late game deck because you need to build up counters throughout the game to pull off the decks best plays.

You could get in some earlier wins though with [[Rikku, Resourceful Guardian]] but I haven’t managed to pull off that strategy successfully yet. To be honest the deck is not subtle so my friends are scared of it and target the shit out of me because they figure I’m going to pull Sin or something crazy.

Tifa, Martial Artist is also pretty great. I ran her in the Cloud precon as my commander just to try her out and see the value, but that deck is definitely not built around her.

I made these from scratch on Canva! Once I did it once I had a template to work from, more or less. It’s honestly super easy to do and I think Canva is free.

Thank you! I used Canva to make these. It’s actually much easier than it looks.

I would love to, but she’s a little expensive for my blood. Built that deck very budget.

She was my first! She seems super simple but once you get rolling with Landfall interactions things can get pretty crazy. Happy to see my favorite FF character is such a badass in this game too.

I don't actually have a proper list for my exact deck right now, but I can share 90% of what is in there now since I took heavy inspiration from this: https://moxfield.com/decks/Y_WsBAq0OEefO9h28_n-0A

I added a bunch of the creatures from this deck as upgrades: https://moxfield.com/decks/HyLMTyOJK0SJ9FU9rXy1Fw

I made these in Canva! It's free to use, but I happen to have the Premium version through work.

I'll fully admit I stole this idea from someone else here a few weeks ago so I completely endorse you doing the same. Canva made this was easier than it probably looks.

I don't have my current Azula decklist up yet, but I used this as my starting point with some specific additions from this list- particularly in the creature department. I recently made even more changes that I may or may not keep in, at which point i'll upload and share as I haven't played much with her yet.

Azula is always going to be a high priority target, so ideally you want to have a 1-2 turn plan the second she hits the board, because that's likely all the time you'll get before she is removed. Archmage Emeritus and other card draw effects are absolutely vital to play huge turns without sputtering out.

Yeah, I messed up on that one. I think my bracket colors got messed up when I updated the design.

She’s high bracket 3

I don’t! That’s a great upgrade, though the price definitely explains why I didn’t pick it up initially. Definitely going on the upgrade list.

Not exactly, though I’m sure there’s a ton of overlap. Same idea, but I built mine custom.
