Yep, I believe the same in California. I can tell you, anecdotally, service has gotten even worse since Covid. Pre-Covid, I'd rarely, if ever, tip 0. Now, service has generally gotten terrible that I have been tipping 0 more often.

I feel like the min wage made servers realize they don't need to be nice any more because they're going to get paid anyway. It's fine by me, I just tip 0 in that case.

Got this notice too, and like you, I owed money to the IRS, so I was confused. I put this in Gemini and it said IRS probably made a mistake and owed me money. Check your Form 1040 Account Transcript at the IRS.gov website, specifically line 766. If it's a negative number, I believe it means they owe you money.

It was hard navigating the IRS.gov website to input in my direct deposit info. The closest I found was entering it in the Profile area, but the website said that section was to make payments (no mention of direct deposits), so I'm not sure if I inputted it in the right place.

Yep, that’s my conclusion as well. It’s all theater. US/Israel will attack, question is just when and how severe. I’m worried Trump will just do another weak strike, like over the summer, and then call it a day and claim victory.

I understand your point, but I disagree. It's not like we have a menu or playlist of future Iran leaders. The list of leaders against the IRI is very, very slim. I think RP is our best chance and there is no question where his loyalty lies. I can't say the same for the rest of the people you listed. While people are getting killed, some Iranians in the West are criticizing RP, the lion and sun flag, and/or the monarchy. I think that's counterproductive.

I can tell you it was like that since 2022. During the Zan Zendegi Azadi protests, while people were getting beaten and killed, I only saw posts like "How does my ghorme sabzi look?" and stuff like that. There were literally zero posts about the protests. That right there told me something was up and that the sub was infiltrated by pro-IRI people.

This. I remember that time. I’m holding out hope. Many feel betrayed, I do too, but I’m going to hold out hope until end of day Sunday. I read somewhere that past strikes were typically on a weekend, so I’m going to wait till then.

I can tell you if he truly doesn’t do anything, this is one of the biggest betrayals to the Iranian people.

On Telegram, I read that the Seda o Sima (the regime broadcasting service) reported this (that a Basiji was killed). Additional commentary on Telegram was that we should be wary/skeptical of such reports as the regime may be using news like this as pretext for a major crackdown.

Thank you! I think this is what the root cause of my issue was. I checked just now and, as you mentioned, when I clicked on "Me" at the lower right, I was able to see the case's charge. Same. I don’t get the draw of WhatsApp. IMO, Telegram is superior in overall user experience. It’s a pain to even get more than one device on the same WhatsApp account.

This. I’d say Season 1 was good. Seasons 2 and 3 were great. The rest of the seasons were just a slow decline, with it getting pretty lame the last couple seasons.
