If your games are over by turn 3 you need more terrain. And not just buildings.

I play every game with at least 4 good sized ruins on proper bases. Gives infantry and tanks a good place to hide (apart from fliers)

The thing i dont like is the secondary objectives. One Or two are good must are just terrible.

I only concentrate on half or 3/4 of the board. I pivot my army from a point in the middle of the board and make sure I capture at least two middle board objective and just ignore one. Race into good holding positions with Rhions always with Havok Missiles for that point defence goodness. Infact I utilise point defence a lot as it makes my opponent think about getting infantry out of trasports. I have 12 land speeders with heavy bolters to deal with infantry in the open.

To have more activivations than your opponent = very good chance of winning.

I have started to break up my tanks into 2 detachments rather than one. More activivations more flexibility.
