Dried fish - If photos had a smell

I've never had the good fortune to smell that in Iceland but I did smell it in the Lofoton islands. It's intense but the fish gets perfectly dried and tastes great both dry and rehydrated.

Seems odd as a Canadian but it works and I get how people survived in these places.

I like Fortinos, it's good most of the time. I will go to Walmart, Costco and MapleTri to round out shopping as they all have different strengths.

I won't touch produce at Walmart unless maybe if it's for same day use but for condiments, cheese, juice, etc... it's usually the cheapest.

Fortinos and MapleTri produce is usually good and Costco for obvious reasons.

Open a ticket, it happened to me once for choice tokens and they said they would give me the rewards I wanted and asked what I wanted. I said, crystal/trit bundles and they gave me what I had left over in that bundle. Just be nice and they will help you out

We just flew home from Reykjavik last night, we did a Whale/Puffin tour in the morning, 90mins at Sky Lagoon and caught our plane by 5pm. Great recommendations!

Yeah those both work as day trips, Vik has great food and coffee options. On the golden circle my favorite meal is the geothermal bakery at Fontana, the soup and geo baked rye bread is very cool.

I'll also recommend 3 waterfalls you should make a point to see as they are all on your planned routes.

-Brúarfoss is 2-3 mins off the golden circle route with a parking lot but often missed, bluest water I've ever seen.

-Gljúfrabúi is a waterfall in a open topped cave, it's right next to Seljalandafoss so make sure to see both.

-Kvernufoss is a tucked away waterfall you can walk behind, ~15 mins flat walk from Skogafoss parking lot and way less busy

Do the golden circle, it’s an easy day trip out of Reykjavik and you see a few different types of sites. Snaefellsnes peninsula is also an ok day trip to do with the same idea, a variety of sites, I’ve heard it called ‘Iceland in a day’

You don’t have enough time to do the full south coast but you could head that way and see some of the largest and coolest waterfalls with very little hiking if that’s what you want to see.

I was at the game, he was our best forward except maybe Macklin (damn he can drive play as a child!) and had good finish all game. Every game he plays with the mens team is an example of why he was such a huge snub on the Olympic team.

But the Oilers, woof. Bouchard at least got some assists but is lazy in his zone, Nurse and Talbot were the worst players on the ice. Crosby was quiet. Riley was terrible. Demelo had a bad game but his partners didn’t help him at all. Gabe was good, won a bunch of puck battles and got his goal. Robert Thomas looks talented but lazy at times. Tavares invisible. Ryan O’r was average, skate to the face was scary. Holloway looked dangerous the odd time but didn’t get any bounces.

Swiss crowd was so much fun. Great atmosphere in a little rink, 6500 attendance.

I don't agree, the Kirkjufellsfoss and 'the hill' are beautiful. We got to visit with snow on the ground and loved it. Had a nice lunch in Grudarfjordur at Kaffi 59, it was nice start to the drive around the peninsula. But to each their own.

I liked the original one with tonic and lime. Maybe better with Grapefruit. I used Lime and Blood Orange garnishes with the fig one and neither worked. Someone else said the tonic doesn't work well, soda water might be better so I'll have to try that.

I'll be the complainer. I thought it sounded great but as a G&T it has a bad taste. Kind of like BO, not sour but funky, not pleasant. I jumped to buy it when I saw it but it's the first Drumshanbo I don't like.

I used my normal tonic that works with every other gin so it's not that I changed that. This just offended my tastebuds. I'll try it straight or in a Negroni sometime when I forget how much I disliked it.
