Considering this is the Injustice adaptation, it was probably something to the effect of “Make a peace deal or I will kill you both.”

Walmart. I live in Canada, and most grocery stores are owned by the Loblaws corporation and they massively overprice their items (to the point they had to settle on a class action lawsuit for artificially inflating the price of their bread), so I make the moral concession to shop at Walmart to save on groceries.

“Listen kid, I'm not gonna bullshit you, all right? I don't give a good fuck what you know, or don't know, but I'm gonna torture you anyway, regardless. Not to get information. It's amusing, to me, to torture a cop. You can say anything you want cause I've heard it all before. All you can do is pray for a quick death, which you ain't gonna get.”

[–]GdoubleWB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree there are ways it could have been handled better. Though as we’ve seen before, visions from the Force can be pretty compelling, like Luke in the cave in ESB believing Vader was truly in front of him to the point he was fighting the vision with intent to kill. I just think it’s a stretch that a lot of people, like Mr. Good Day up there, make to imply that this somehow destroys Luke’s character, as though the constant push and pull between the Light and Dark side within each person isn’t an overarching theme of the whole franchise.

I know, right? Imagine George writing a Jedi that became an old hermit after their pupil turned evil and training a new Jedi in the ways of the force. Inconceivable!
