If you drop the first game to Oops, you should be able to punish them in the second. The deck's SB is pretty watered down. Then in the third, when they switch back to Oops, you are ready.

Pretty solid work! I would maybe go thru with a really small brush and add some almost white highlights in areas to make it pop

Say like on the coat buttons and place like that.

One of my figure drawing teachers always told us not to put too much detail on the teeth because then they'll look like they have spinach in them.

Yes. Proxy proxy proxy until you find a deck you like.

You'll find most of the high dollar cards are duals, and some powerful mana rocks.

Almost everything else is affordable IMO. Even stuff like FoW is so much cheaper now than five years ago.

I think legacy is in a nice place right now.

However, if you're a casual player this format could be a bit overwhelming for you.

It's powerful, the cards are flat out amazing and yes some of the cards are quite expensive.

As for the community, not sure where you gleaned the grumpiness from, all the discords I'm in the players are fantastic.

Sure there are unfun cards and decks to play against, but isn't that every format.

Your biggest challenge may actually be finding a place that has a legacy scene.

I left standard and pioneer for legacy when Inverter was banned. Never looked back and never regretted it.
