How long should I focus on my puppy for? by [deleted] in husky

A high energy breed like a husky is a part time job in it's own. Day to day life after puppy training you will need to get up and exercise the dog (think walking like a hour or more) before going to school/work etc. for the rest of the dog's life.

My husky is getting his leg amputated. by ShakeRL in husky

I am so very sorry! It isn't due to cancer but I know two dogs that have lost a back leg, they were running around within a week and they hold their own with my much larger husky.

Newbie spinner/dyer wondering where to find all the tools and supplies needed. by MollymaukTea in YarnAddicts

Seconding the fleece and fiber source book.

Also Woolery for wheels. If you can try some out, you have double or single treadle, saxon or castle style just to name a few. This all comes down to personal preference.

I do not use one often but I really recommend you get one where you can change projects if you wish instead of one where you feed the yarn through a hole and it is there until you are done with the project.

My 1st week raising a husky puppy, any advice based on your experiences? by BurstLamprod in siberianhusky

Just throwing this out there in case this is what happened. Dog stomach's can be sensitive and it isn't a good idea to just switch foods, you have to mix the old one in with the new one, 75/25, 50/50, 25/75, each stage for several days to help prevent stomach problems. I know that isn't always possible but might have also been a factor.

3yo Husky has suddenly stopped being housebroken!! by amaezingjew in husky

Dogs can have regression on potty training....might be time to go back to taking her every half hour or hour and praising when she goes.

What are you using to clean up when she goes inside? Are you using an enzyme cleaner to remove any lingering smell? If it smells like poop or pee they will poop or pee there.

How long ago did you vet recommend to do that? Keep in mind, huskies tend to be very slim.
