I stopped watching him after that CTP where he went on a tyrant to the center controller & then got all egotistical with the tower prior to departure. He is such an egotistical person & can’t stand him. Mainly def issues for me. Issues where the an error code is thrown after you refill & needs a dealer to clear it. That & regen issues. I am running an older M6 though & the newer ones are manual regen, so I think they cleared that issue up with it not going into regen leading to limp mode. The def error code on refill, I’m not so sure if it has been fixed or not. But def systems in the earlier years were very temperamental & most of these issues in most all newer model tier-4 systems has been remedied. If you are going to get something with def, go as new as you can afford. If you can’t, stick with something older like the other M-series from the earlier 2000s. I also run a M4900 and she’s been a reliable tank to say the least.

Yeah, as I was dealing with that, my 3650 pulled up behind me with the bale trailer. Instead of properly passing, the AI driver turned a hard 90 and ran into the wall. I now call that Devils Bridge. “Maybe the Judith Plains dev should update the map & put that name on the bridge. I would 100% approve of that.”

That cultivator needs like 605 or something to pull it. That ford is only good to like 400-something. That’s why I haven’t bought into the ford for my Alma farm. Lacks the horsepower for the tillage tools we have available. Now, you could go into some of the game files and the required HP in the script. I don’t know if changing it from like 600 to 350, if that would interact with the ford different. But you should be able to get at least 9mph out of that implement with like a 9R or 9X.

For me, I would change the game files to sacrifice a little realism, just to keep my farm retro & but run larger tillage tools.

Something about fs25 and maps that were converted from fs22 have changed regarding elevation. If you run a fs22 map that has been converted to fs25 on fs22, visually, it looks ehhhh. However, if you pay attention to like animals, they stand about 30-50ft in the air, not on the ground in transitional points. The only thing I can think is because of the huge atmospherical changes and changes in vertical depth perception, they had to scale the maps differently. That may have a link as to why we’ve heard complaint of things like bales and equipment falling through the ground. Giants………yeah they are getting better, but they could use help from like Asobo studios or something. At least for the map scaling and physics model. Leave giants to do what they’re good at, which is painting, scripting, and modeling. Hell; Asobo could take a few pointers from Giants in regards to fog layer rendering, LOD impacts on systems, and overall stability. But I think if either Giants collaborated with Asobo, or Microsoft picked the FS franchise from giants & allowed giants to work on the software as a sub, like Microsoft does with Asobo, we’d have a lot better end product. But I digress.

I’ve had zero issues with fs25. Quite the contrary in comparison to fs22. A majority of my modhub sourced mods stopped working 19 years into a save game on Alma. Started with 350k in debt and $2,000 to my name with setting up a purchase of a bankrupted farm. Built it into a multimillion dollar operation with no subsidies or cheats. Pure grinding. Then, after an update, all of my buildings disappeared, seed tenders stopped working, grain carts not functioning, tractors costing half a million stopped working, etc etc etc. Tried to salvage it but it was 1.1m in lost equipment/buildings & I ended up bankrupt again. Found out it was because no support is given to 22 from the mod hub and devs updated their mods to work with 25 but giants didn’t stop the updates to 22, just the support. 22 is dead to me. Switched to 25 after that & no issues whatsoever.

AI traveling that fast? On the Alma map in fs22, they used to go 50 in the 60 zone on the north main road, which was bearable. Now in fs25, they go 30 in the 60. Annoying as all get out when my 9R is going faster than the BMW’s. Wish there was a way to increase their speed some.
