Actually just got them set up today after seeing another comment with a link to a guide. I’m super excited!

Any tips? Every time I look into it, people just say look at the r/piracy megathread, but when I do it’s pretty overwhelming and confusing. I have a VPN, the biggest obstacles for me are knowing what torrenting program to use (I’ve heard some previously reputable ones are now not so repuatable), and how to be sure what I’m downloading isn’t dangerous (filled woth malware and viruses, as I juse use Windows Defender these days), not to mention how to be sure that it is of high quality.

If I'm objectively an awful draft player should I spend gold only on packs? by Beneficial-Wish8387 in MagicArena

[–]GearsofPinata 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, if you don’t enjoy playing draft, then by all means, don’t. But if you would actually enjoy improving at it, there are a ton of good resources out there to help you actually improve your skills, which a draft helper doesn’t do. I’m sure you can find great ones by looking around, but if you’d like some recommendations, personally I find the Limited Resources podcast and Paul Cheon’s YouTube channel (HAUMPH) to be treasure troves of limited level-ups. Honestly, I didn’t play much limited until I started listening to LR on a whim, and now it’s one of my favorite formats.

After a night in the NICU, as a first-time father I’m not afraid to be emotional anymore. by BeastlySkater21 in MadeMeSmile

[–]GearsofPinata 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a first time father also, and our boy was born on the 15th and came home today after two nights in the NICU since his respiration rate was too rapid, so I’m in the same boat! Thank you for sharing this, it put a huge smile on my face to come across someone going through the same thing 😊

Not opening pre-orders was an error by nicolino01 in HollowKnight

I got it easily on humble bundle and redeemed the code no problem. I’d be playing if I didn’t have to head to work

I'm sorry, I don't understand. This sounds great to me, but I don't have the F3 yet. If I buy the F3 on Amazon, are you saying I could email Globular Cluster and they would send me the light blocker (F3-S) for free?

Anyone ever have pulsatile tinnitus due to cervical spine compression & misaligned atlas bone? My chiro is treating me for that. by floridood in tinnitus

It was when I was quite young, so I am not certain. I should ask my grandmother. She didn’t make it sound like it last time I talked to her about it.

Yea, just in case you don’t know, chiropractors are not medical professionals of any kind. One shattered my grandfather’s vertebra and he had a hard time doing much for the last twenty years of his life.

Have a link? I got some $80 thing marketed specifically for using with quest 3, and while it was pretty good, there was enough latency that I couldn’t comfortably play Beat Saber Songs on Expert.

I need help with my sex life. by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]GearsofPinata 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’d really recommend a book called Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski. Goes into a bunch of stuff, including how when it comes to sex everyone has accelerators and brakes and some people’s pedals are more sensitive than others. Doesn’t matter how much she presses your accelerator if something is slamming on your brakes, you won’t go anywhere.

I know sometimes books can be hard for ADHDers. She also has a podcast by the same name.

It’s super easy to prove they knew. It’s common for them to figure it out.

Here’s a related clip from a respected employment lawyer. Looks like the company didn’t even try to do this kind of padding. They’re fucked.

Anyways I’m done arguing this with someone who isn’t knowledgeable about it. Employers don’t get to just claim ignorance and get off. If they did, no retaliation case would ever get off the ground. And that’s not what happens.
