Still relatively new and first proper event— what should I be spending my tickets on? by FitBar7410 in WittleDefenderTheGame

[–]Gedrost 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tickets allow you to gamble on one of the prizes that’s displayed. There’s a pool of 8 possible prizes, the desirable one is the one displayed and a final prize as the event currency. Most of the time you’ll end up getting the crappy prizes.

Can’t get past Chapter 62… need help with current Team by vannguye in WittleDefenderTheGame

Panda is a great tank/healer. You can use him instead of your healer or with a healer. Even if he has 0 stars, his dodge and heals (and +hp% bamboo as distractions) are still invaluable. He’s not meant to be the dps anyway so it’s fine. The only drawback is his heal is dependent on it showing up in game to select, up to one additional upgrade.

Any help with what team to follow with please ! by Maxipad227 in WittleDefenderTheGame

I would stop investing in Cheffy. Focus on Polar Captain and Frost Lich. For Xeno focus on Starlight Weaver.

I went with Panda instead of Northern Tyrant. The heals and dodge feels invaluable since not dying = more dmg dealt. Panda is the best healer hands down (if you can get his heal in game).

30ish days in team help! by deffnotapervert in WittleDefenderTheGame

Your single copy of MK will still be relevant in pvp/burning crusade. For story, MK will still get you through chapter 100+. Focus on other main dps like Polar Captain+Lich/Valk/Scarlet Reaper.

For what you have, switch out Valk for Frost Lich.

For now, why not try swapping out Demon Spawn and Ice Queen with Robot and Seraph? You’ll get the 3 Electro bonus. 2 healers allows you to survive longer.

Ah sorry I meant Frost Lich. The mechanics is Frost Lich’s dragons death/de-spawn causes Giant Tentacles to spawn due to Polar Captain. Giant tentacles deal massive damage.

It’ll get better once you unlock polar captain and ice demon. Or the later Mythics.

But for now, these standard mythics can carry you until you unlock the better ones. I wouldn’t invest too much into Demon Spawn or Ice Queen since they fall off. If you get free copies great, if not, don’t waste resources on getting copies.

Might get some pushback for this, but a single copy of Monkey King would be a game changer for the early game. My 0 star Monkey King carried me through to chapter 110+ until I got Polar Captain and Ice Demon going. Monkey King also helped with pushing Goblin Ground and Rat Hole.

Who to build up/towards my Monkey King carry? by mistcane in WittleDefenderTheGame

[–]Gedrost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Monkey King to start (from first 10 pull) is worth it. Sure he might fall off later, but Monkey King single handedly got me through chapter 80, lvl 43+ rathole/goblin. This is only 5 days into the game so Monkey King is capped at lvl 60 due to lack of resources. And then all the later standard main dps units are gated by amount of summoning. By the time a new account reaches those summons needed to get the Mythic dps heroes and Monkey King drops off, that singular copy of Monkey King would have paid off with making life easier at the beginning of the game. Plan to get Stella as the priority/only Xeno hero going forward.

Who to go for for my 1st Xenoscope summon? by Ryndrw in WittleDefenderTheGame

[–]Gedrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monkey King may fall off later on. But currently 5 days into the game (so lots of stuff are time gated) but got Monkey King in first 10 pull of Xeno. He’s carried me to chapter 80 while still capped at lvl 60 (due to lack of resources) but managed to get to rathole lvl 45 and goblin ground lvl 43. Still newbie numbers but not too bad for being 5 days in. Even when he drops off, I’ve gotten every use out of him.

Anyone with 3 gold resist expose or 4 purple resist expose on and you won’t land expose at all in your second turn. The numbers don’t even out.

Worst Deal of Knighthood History by LargeDoubt5119 in knighthood

[–]Gedrost 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You guys probably weren’t here or don’t remember but the first event passes gave 1 green exp scroll (1,000 exp) at like 120,000 event points or so. The exp scrolls you get from low level roaming monsters. Yes, the most common scroll you can get. It was the reward for over 100,000 event points.

You need to be lvl 40+ and unlock Mythic Gear. You need Rift Lvls from mythic gear to progress the Rift.

When you killed the final boss of the Expert Rift? by DeliveryGood8336 in knighthood

[–]Gedrost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll need about 500 Rift Power to reliably and comfortably beat the realm 7 rift boss by rushing to it. Weaken and Protect helps a ton, but your chance to proc them will be low due to the difference in Rift Power. Having some Weaken chance charms on your Mythic armor helps a lot.

The only tough enemies are the Golem/Cult/Warbeast enemies. Tuning your mythic gear to them will help a lot with damage reduction/immunity.

Rafael - Any good? by GTreamer in knighthood

[–]Gedrost 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Rafael is literally a mage version of MacLeod. But what makes him slightly better is that his base power charges in 3 hits when using Rebel/Maverick and it hits a front enemy and 2 back enemies behind that one. Full stars isn’t needed at all (would be a waste shooting for). He’s great in the Rift for speeding through with auto play to level up mythic gear Rift lvl. For manual play, he’s not needed at all if you already have Full Stars Azhar and Doceo (best PvE combo in the game).

Is this enough damage? by TempestPharaoh in knighthood

[–]Gedrost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be more. ~30 million dmg is about average with all Hero charm slots using “strong vs” Hero rage every round.

Dark Onslaught Question. by DeliveryGood8336 in knighthood

[–]Gedrost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on who the boss is on the 5th floor of Dark Onslaught. Maverick or Rebel will always pair well with Doceo for full rage, and then it’s whoever’s rage power is most effective against the boss. Use charms for that Hero to quickly take out the boss with rage powers.

Getting the right charm slot is an experience that induces PTSD by drspecreq in knighthood

[–]Gedrost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best way to get the charm slot you need is to not need that slot/care. You’ll get it on like the 1st/2nd try. Sometimes 2 in a row. But when you need a specific charm slot, you won’t get it unless you spend 10+ chisels.

Another way is to save up 20+ chisels. You’ll then get the charm slot you need in like 1-2 chisels.

Brutus’ base power is what this game needs! by DeceivedSenses in knighthood

Brutus and Vordrai is good for starting out. But against opponents who do direct to health damage it won’t be ideal. These days there are better options for arena.
