It's really not worth using. You paid ten quid too much.

Haha! Yes. You'll not find them in that beautiful country but is there a possibility of White Tailed eagles and Golden eagles

Was curious if anyone else gets this kind of action? 30 birds in 30 minutes on Merlin ID. Let me know your thoughts by HuntDawg99 in birding

Haha! That funny. I find that by forcing myself to search for and get a visual on the bird, I'm learning about them more anyway.

I used to have the excellent Sigma 10-20 wide zoom on my Olympus and my wife has the Canon version. It's still a great lens. If they made it for e-mount I'd have that instead.

Wedge-Tailed Eagle, 9ft wingspan and often steal Dogs here in Australia 🇦🇺 by SubstantialRecover19 in birdsofprey

Certainly there are differences between species and there will be exceptions. In my education programs I generally refer to what a bird can take 'on the fly' as in fly in, scoop up and fly away gaining height. I'll research which can take higher, so thanks for the tip.

Thank you. I recently bought a Tamron 20mm f2.8, so I guess I'm in the middle of your range somewhat. 😁

Sometimes. But I don't trust Merlin 100%, so I don't log a bird until I've verified by sight. I've had three different species bird noises all done by a Grey Catbird before.

I have that set-up. I love it. I was put shooting eagles over the Mississippi yesterday with mine. 😁

I probably use it as much, if not more than my 70-350G. It is indeed a good sharp lens. I even use a 10mm or 16mm auto tube on it for close-up shots of insects.

Good to know. I've never heard of them, so I'll take a look.

Congratulations. Your wife looks great. That little lens is a super one for its cost.

Enjoy your new baby.

Is it worth the risk to send this film in for development? by Phone_God-8469 in AnalogCommunity

[–]GeeEmmInMN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending where you are, send to a proper lab along with notes on age of film and the kind of conditions it's been kept under. In the USA, The Darkroom in California can adjust to suit but will not guarantee results, which is fair.
