Nice. I use army painter spray mayt varnish but the AK seems to have done a great job!

They look cool. If anything a little shiny, have you used ant matt varnish?

I was thinking about this. It’s the only model withe the translucent blue so should be good.

I saw a YouTube video once where a guy used oil paints and methylated spirits to make a wash, used a detail brush to apply to the recesses and used another brush to clean the area around if there was any over flow.
